How to adjust and what are the tools required???? Its simple if you've got trained fingers, if not then it can also be done effortlessly by removing the tank, like done on 220's.Originally posted by phanikar View PostIf you meant changing only the bulb , yes it is possible ,Got the headlight changed on my friend's ZMA before the recently concluded ride with removal of the fairing. If you are talking about P220S and Zma , it is not required to remove the tank buddy. I have done it personally on the P220S.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostIts simple if you've got trained fingers, if not then it can also be done effortlessly by removing the tank, like done on 220's.

Tubeless Tires or Tuff-up tube for ZMA-R
Is it possible to change the stock tires to tubeless ones without a rim change ? When i spoke to the sales guy he said it is not possible to merely swap the tyres with those of ZMR. Going through this thread i see that few people do have changed to tubeless though i cannot recollect if this required a rim change too.
Another option i would like to explore is using a Tuff-Up tube. Anyone has experience with it ?

The tank needs to be removed and engine should be cold, have to open the tappet covers both for exhaust and inlet ,a filler gauge in mm is required 0.1 mm is the clearance to be set.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostHow to adjust and what are the tools required???? Loosen the nut #15 and insert filler gauge between the screw #14 and the valve
stem top, tighten the screw #14 such that friction is felt while moving the gauge.Once done tighten the nut #15,cross check by inserting a gauge of value higher. Before setting the clearance the piston should be brought to compression stroke.
In karizma it is very tough to set the clearance on inlet valve, exhaust valve is a bit easier.

If your alloy wheel/rim is not damaged,Then you don't have to replace it.You only need to get a tubless valve for making it tubeless.Originally posted by shubhamAT View PostIs it possible to change the stock tires to tubeless ones without a rim change ? Honda TuffUp tubes available here are 3.0 * 18 size,So i wont recommend that.Another option i would like to explore is using a Tuff-Up tube. Anyone has experience with it ?

just one kind is right ..lopsided at either the low end or at the high end . I'm not an expert in this - what I've posted is according to my understanding from what I've read . I am willing to be corrected if I'm wrong .Originally posted by asif View PostThanks for the share @ acs1207
And now i really don't understand why PSR suggests not to disconnect the switch.
If you disconnect the TPS , then it'll not adjust ignition timing according to throttle position . With TPS disconnected you can have ignition either at idle position or at WOT . You can either just disconnect it and leave it like that or short it . Either way it'll foul up your riding at one end and give you normal riding at the other - either at low rev or at high rev according to what you've done .
The TPS is continuously varying that is when its connected, when its not should give just one kind of performance. This is what i have been able to figure out as of now.

I want to know too...Originally posted by selvin rebz View Postcan anyone tell me, how to change karizma headlight without removing the fairing??
is it possible???

Went to svc and estimated the damages,All damages will cost me nearly 24000rs.50% on Fiber and Metal parts.

I'm willing to train my fingers ..
Which is easier ? Removing the tank or removing the fairing? I guess it's the tank .sigpic

Its not worth trying to change the bulb with the fairing on. At some point of time you are bound to touch the bulb with your fingers or some other dirty stuff. This in turn may cause the bulb to die out on you prematurely or even shatter.85 RD350
