Stoner has indeed got very comfortable on that Honda, pretty quickly..

But.. whats up with Tony Elias, he's slower than Rookie Karel Abraham on a bike he's familiar with!

moreover since rossi has been banned to comment on his ducati debut by Yamaha, we don't know exactly whats going through his mind after his first ride on the desmodicci

You have to wait till April 2011 to see who is where. Though when winter session starts (Feb?), it should be an indicator of things to come.

I agree and understand that very well...

It's just that he's too far off the pace, almost 2.6sec slower & he'd raced RCV before.

Winter Session will be held on Feb 1,2 and 3.

That was Toni on RC212V.

First practice in 2011 is sched for Feb 1,2 and 3 @ Sepang, Malaysia. Then it should be in Jerez or somewhere in March, 2-3 weeks before the first race.

Riders take a break in Winter. No testing (Officially banned until feb).

His first comment when he lifted his visor up was a positive one about the power delivery and then he gave some impressive technical details. We certainly have a lot to do to adapt the bike to his riding style but it is really nice and very interesting to work on something like that.

Discussing requirements put forward by Rossi after his 141 laps across both days on the bike, Preziosi said: “More turning and more confidence with the front, so we have to work in that direction. I would also like to change the (chassis) stiffness, weight distribution, and geometry.”
Rossi’s best lap of 1’33.761 left him 15th on the timesheet by the close of the day on Wednesday, and when asked what it was like to work with the 31 year-old Preziosi said: “Unbelievable. For me to be calm when you are at the top of the timesheet is easy, but to be calm when you are not at the top means you really are a great rider.”
