Stefan Svitko, KTM rider grabbed his maiden stage win in 2016 Dakar Rally Stage 10. Kevin Benavides, Honda rider followed in second place with overall leader Toby Price trailing at third place. Svitko has moved up to second in overall ranking followed by HRC’s Paulo Goncalves at third.
Paulo Goncalves was towed to the finish line in the previous stage due to punctured radiator. He was credited with a 13th-place finish in Stage 9.
Sherco TVS rider Joan Pedrero crashed before second way point which resulted as the first retirement for Sherco TVS team. Alain Duclos finished the tenth stage at 62nd place which dropped him to 22nd in the overall rankings. The third teammate Florent Vayssade has reached to 31st place in overall standings and finished 47th in stage ranking.
