The #motoWolverine or xBhp’s Suzuki GSX-S1000, which is one of the world’s finest liter-class street bikes, yesterday visited Big Motorcycle Company’s EagleRider New Delhi showroom yesterday for some performance enhancing therapy sessions that included a serious weight reduction procedure as well.

The weight reduction came in the form of installation of a super light weight lithium battery from Deltran Battery Tender in place of the conventional lead-acid battery which comes as stock with the bike. Not only this lithium battery is considerably lighter than the stock one, it is very compact as well. The corresponding Deltran Battery Tender lithium battery weighs only 800 g compared to a 3.5 kg stock battery, which means a reduction of around 2.5 kg in the overall weight of the bike in one go.

Then we had this little thing called Digital Voltage Indicator with LCD display by Deltran Battery Tender, which helps you monitor the voltage output of your battery. It is no bigger than a cigarette lighter and has got a tiny LCD screen that displays battery voltage when the button is pressed. There are 3 different color LEDs as well, which glow depending upon the voltage of the battery; for example,

GREEN: Battery Charged (Greater than 12.0V)
YELLOW: Battery is Low (11.6 to 12.0V)

It felt like a perfect accessories when you are out somewhere and you don’t want to see your bike dirty! Particularly very handy  for us when we are out there shooting a new bike and we want to clean it but don’t have access to water or a bike cleaning garage.
