TVS factory team has been racing in all competition categories – circuit, rally and motocross in India and in countries all over the world and has been the incubation crucible for a vast number of Indian national racing champions.

TVS AKULA concept racer is a tribute to TVS Racing’s 33 years of dominant race heritage.

Conceived ground up as a track machine, taking inputs from our factory race riders as well as using cutting edge technology we have built a seriously capable racer that can be a winner each and every time it’s on the track. A high performance engine breathing through a forced air fed air box gives the engine a high rev peak capability. This mated to a quick shifting 6 speed gearbox helps it attack from one corner to the other keeping ahead of its competitors.

The list of equipment is impressive as well as essential starting for USD forks, radial calipers, highly stiff space frame chassis as well as lightweight carbon fibre bodywork. Aluminium sub frame and the cast alloy swing arm keep the dynamics under control and gives flexibility to rider. The bodywork is the result of endless hours in the wind tunnel to fine tune a slippery shape and tucked in race ergonomics. The heat management gills in the body as well as dorsal fin underneath the seat gives it’s a characteristic shape and aids in aerodynamic efficiency. This characteristic shape gives it a shark like look thus giving its name TVS AKULA 310 which means shark in Russian. Other features include a full function digital speedo, on board gyro cameras and a steering damper for additional stability.

All these features as well as superbly engineered form give it a highly focussed function of winning any challenge on the race track.

TVS X21 – Exhibiting the inherent racing DNA of TVS Motor Company is the TVS X21 concept racer. It is the racing interpretation of the company’s recently launched TVS Apache RTR 200. TVS X21 is designed to accentuate superlative racing pleasure with its minimal weight, best handling, rideablity and powerful, high performance, race tuned engine.

A purist racing adventure stands in the form of TVS X21, which is half faired for superior aerodynamics. Added race ergonomics make it a meaner, track ready machine. The combination of smooth lines and sharp edges, emphasize the aggressive, racy look of the motorcycle.

Tuned for higher revs so as to enable more top end power for that perfect track experience, TVS X21’s 212.4 cc, four valve comes with fuel injected powertrain. Twin oil coolers provide for a more efficient oil circulation and cooling system. While twin straight flow air filters contribute to cleaner combustion; twin free flow canisters discharge exhaust gases and produce the signature RTR grunt.

TVS X21 is built on a lightweight and compact chassis with focus on low mass. This enables better flickability and dynamic cornering. It has a telescopic front suspension and a mono shock gas-filled rear suspension. The instrument console includes a digital speedometer, a digital tachometer, a trip meter, clock, acceleration timing, lap timing and more for performance tuning.

TVS X21 is muscular and yet compact. It is equipped with several special race components such as a performance kit, race levers and steering damper for stability and control at higher speeds.

TVS ENTORQ210 –  Showcasing its vision for the future of next-gen two wheelers, TVS Motor Company displays TVS ENTORQ210, a smart and premium touring Scooter Concept. Designed and developed in-house, this innovative big wheeled tourer is a performance touring scooter concept which envisions the ease of city riding as well as high speed cruising. In terms of design, it evokes the image of a dynamic sporty cruiser that merges elegance and stylishness with clean accents and sharp lines. Overall, it represents the ever-changing nature of mobility.

The advanced, all aluminum, liquid cooled fuel injected 212.5 cc powertrain of TVS ENTORQ210 is mated to an advanced Variomatic transmission gearbox. It can reach a top speed of 120 kmph. An 8.5 liter large capacity fuel tank allows for an uninterrupted long haul.

TVS ENTORQ210 is built on an all new next generation ‘Platform Technology’ which combines a lightweight high-grade steel chassis with inverted front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension to give dynamic control at all speeds. Larger wheels with wide radial tubeless tyres enable a true crossover performance bringing about the perfect blend of a motorcycle-like ride quality with the superior comfort of a scooter. Roto-petal dual brake discs with ABS ensure confident and safe braking in every road condition.

The scooter is equipped with an advanced LED lighting system, which in addition to being energy efficient, offers high intensity visibility in all circumstances while imparting a unique light signature that adds to its aesthetic appeal.

First in class intelligent smartphone integration provides GPS navigation and online connectivity. TVS ENTORQ210 also has a host of convenience features that include a smart key, multifunction TFT speedometer console, Start/Stop Push button and large under seat lockable storage. Its long spacious floor boarden courages a feet forward stance designed for improved rider ergonomics for both long rides as well as short city spins. The aerodynamic front fascia reduces windblast and consequently rider fatigue is minimized during long distance cruising at higher speeds.

This new platform will be the base for TVS Motor Company’s big wheeled scooters that would be the norm in highly connected and networked future smart cities.
