The Auto Expo 2016 saw the Yamaha MT09 Launched at 1020000/- Ex-Showroom Delhi.
Yamaha India launched the Roadster Motard – Yamaha MT09. This was subsequent to yesterday’s launch of the Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR. The MT09 has been planned and developed as the flagship model of the MT series and is priced at Rs 1020000/- Ex-Showroom Delhi. It will be available at select Yamaha Dealers.
The MT-09 has a 847cc, liquid cooled, 4-stroke, in-line triple-cylinder, fuel-injected engine with ABS. Yamaha has targeted the youth who are looking for excitement, power and style!

The eagerly-anticipated launch took place today at the Auto Expo 2016 as bollywood heartthrob John Abraham unveiled the new model much to the excitement and delight of the onlookers. The MT-09 has been planned and developed as the flagship model of the MT series and is priced at INR 10,20,000/- (Ex showroom in Delhi). Yamaha’s latest motorcycle will be available at selected dealers across the country.
The all new Yamaha MT-09 mounts a newly developed 847cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line triple-cylinder, fuel-injected engine with ABS technology. Yamaha MT-09 is targeted towards the youth who are looking for excitement, power and style. The year 2015 was a highly successful year for Yamaha as it witnessed a 5% growth rate despite a sluggish market. This can be attributed to the company’s innovative ongoing customer-centric activities and exciting product line up including Yamaha Saluto, Fascino and YZF-R3 which continue to strengthen their position with great sale numbers across the country. In the domestic market, the company sold 5.94 lakh units in 2015 and aims to sell 8 lakh units in 2016.
