When it comes to storied history and legacy, few marquees can match the cred of Triumph Motorcycles. The Hinckley marquee has been known throughout history for making some of the best motorcycles at any given time. Tiger, Daytona, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Street Twin, Speed Twin, Thruxton, and the list goes on and on and on.

In addition to making some of the most iconic and aspirational motorcycles ever, Triumph Motorcycles has also invested heavily in the motorcycling community in general. In that sense, their goals are aligned with ours: building a motorcycling community and ensuring that motorcycles are seen as more than mere tools of transportation.

To that end, they have been organising all sorts of rides and events. We are sure that, unless one has been living under a rock, they are aware of the iconic Triumph DGR or The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride. We have participated in many editions of the DGR, but in this piece, we will tell you the story of another one of their events: Triumph Bike Nights.

Organised by Triumph India at Triumph Dwarka, Triumph Bike Nights was an event aimed at bringing Triumph owners and fans together for a night of fun, food, and stories. Being proud owners of a Triumph Rocket 3 R, we also participated in the event and in the following pages, you will get to read and see more of what went down!

First, a little background. As we mentioned, Triumph has been associated with some of the most iconic motorcycles in the world. When it comes to India, though, its reach was limited to a niche. Considering how ours is still a growing market, the portfolio of Triumph was not as far-reaching. That all changed when Triumph decided to bring its flavour of motorcycling to the masses.

With the launch of the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 XC, Triumph announced its roaring entry to the entry-level market, and the results have more or less spoken for themselves. Both the 400s have been flying off the shelves and the Triumph owner community in our country is bigger than ever. Then, the icing on the cake came in the form of the T4, bringing Triumph’s legendary name to an even more affordable price.

As a result of India’s rapidly evolving motorcycling scene and Triumph’s presence in the mass market, Triumph ownership has risen exponentially all around the country. And to keep that ball rolling, Triumph has come up with this community event. So, let us talk more about Triumph Bike Nights.

Triumph Dwarka was the destination for this event. Having had the Rocket 3 R in the xBhp Garage for years now, we also had an invite. We arrived at the designated time, and it was heartening to see the sheer number of riders we had at the event. Moreover, the event also became a platform for the riders to get to meet new people who shared not only the same love for motorcycling but also the love for the same brand.

The night started with introductions and some music. A lot of the riders were given the opportunity to get on the stage and share their motorcycling stories, along with stories from their time being Triumph owners. It was all topped off with some quick bites. It was a sight to behold to see motorcyclists coming together and being equals regardless of the motorcycle they ride.

We have always advocated for camaraderie and brotherhood among motorcyclists, and with these kinds of initiatives from brands like Triumph, we are sure that the motorcycling community and the motorcycling scene as a whole will keep growing at this unprecedented rate. A big thanks to Triumph India for inviting us, and also, a big thanks to all the riders who showed up and played their part in taking the spirit of motorcycling further.
