Benelli seems to be putting the EICMA 2021 stage to good use as they have unveiled some interesting stuff. The most interesting of them all though is the TRK 800. An elder sibling of the TRK 502, the Benelli TRK 800 looks more aggressive, more purposeful, and something that will surely spice up the middleweight adventure market.

The TRK 800 features a 19″ front wheel that clears its intentions right off the bat. Wheels at both ends are spoked and take the adventure inclination of the Benell TRK 800 further. From what we know, it is powered by a 754cc parallel-twin which is good for 76 bhp of power and 67 Nm of torque that it uses to propel its 226 kg (dry) mass.
The power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox helped by a slipper clutch. The Benelli TRK 800 is built around a steel trellis frame with fully adjustable Marzocchi forks at the front and a rear shock with adjustable preload and rebound. The suspension setup has a travel of around 170mm on both ends. Braking duties are taken care of by dual 320mm discs at the front gripped by Brembo 4-piston callipers.
The highlight in the pictures though is the all-LED lighting and the DRLs add another dash of aggression to the front fascia of the bike. In terms of adventure and travel-friendly features, it gets a 21-litre fuel tank, a centre stand, and a 7″ TFT dash.
Overall the motorcycle seems like an enticing prospect considering Benelli motorcycles are at the more affordable end of the spectrum. More will of course be known once it makes it to the market and to our shores.
