Royal Enfiled has unveiled the 120th Anniversary Limited Editions of their 650 twins. Celebrating 120 years of Royal Enfield, the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have received some special treatment and Royal Enfield unveiled these motorcycles at EICMA 2021. The brand will make 480 units in total and 120 of those have been assigned for sale in India. The remaining 36o units are divided into 120 units each for Southeast Asia, Europe, and America.

The highlights of the limited-edition models include chrome tanks, a blacked-out engine, and an array of parts finished in black including the exhaust, windscreen, engine guards, heel guards, and bar-end mirrors to name a few. Other than that, these motorcycles also feature a handcrafted, die-cast tank badge. It was made in collaboration with the ‘Sirpi Senthil’ family, renowned multi-generational artisans from the temple town of Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. Another highlight of the thank is the unique serial number ranging from 1 to 60 for each motorcycle and the region designated for it.
In terms of powertrain, the motorcycles continue to be powered by the 650cc cc mill that churns out 47 bhp of power and 52 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the rear wheel via the means of a 6-speed gearbox that also features a slip and assist clutch.
The customers who would like to get their hands on the Royal Enfield 120th Year Anniversary Special Edition motorcycles will be able to do so through an online sale on the 6th of December 2021. Moreover, interested customers can also register their interest on the brand’s website starting from November 24.
