Benelli – one of the oldest motorcycle brands from Pesaro, Italy, has put up a brilliant show at EICMA 2015 – by launching/unveiling as many as 5 different motorcycles to cater various genres – from touring to track racing.
In total there were 5 bikes that were showcased, here’s our summary report from the Benelli stall at the EICMA 2015.
Benelli TRK 502 – The Adventure Touring Bike 
The first bike that needs attention here is the all new Benelli TRK 502 – the adventure touring motorcycle for those who love to munch miles. The TRK 502 employs an all new twin-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, EFI, double camshaft 500 cc engine wrapped in a traditional Benelli steel trellis frame that produces a peak power output of 48 BHP at 8500 rpm and a torque of 45 Nm at mere 4500 rpm. Benelli Leoncino
Keeping with the fantastic show put up at the EICMA 2015, Benelli has pulled out another killer from their design box in the form of the “reimagined” Leoncino – one of their most popular bikes. The Tornado 302 has an in-line two cylinder 4-stroke 4-valve DOHC Benelli engine that produces 36 BHP at 12000 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 9000 rpm. The engine is mated to a smooth 6 speed gearbox just like the TNT 302. Read complete story
Benelli BN251
The India-bound BN251 will be powered by a liquid cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC 250 cc Benelli engine that will produce 25 BHP at 9000 rpm and a peak torque of 21.5 Nm at 7500 rpm mark. The steel trestle frame incorporates the engine as a stress member further adding to the rigidity of the chassis. The suspension job will be taken care of by a 41 mm USD at the front and a single swingarm mounted shock absorber at the rear. Read complete story…
Benelli has introduced the Tornado Naked T in 125cc and 135cc versions. The bike is available in single cylinder, 4 stroke, air cooled 4 valves, double spark. Power and torque data, for 125cc version, are 11,7 BHP at 9000 rpm and 10Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. Similarly 135cc version produce 12,6 BHP at 9000 rpm and 10,8Nm of torque at 7000 rpm.
