Building a pan-India motorcycling community and helping the motorcycling culture grow was the core idea behind the formation of xBhp. Two decades on, we are proud to say that we have done a decent job. Along with us, though, there are others who have done a lot based on that very idea- a motorcycling brotherhood.

We have ridden with a fair few riding groups and clubs around India. Our rides like the #roadTripUnited provide us with the opportunity to connect with riders all around India. Other than that, we are also up for backing local riding groups in our region as well. We have been community partners in many rides organised by such groups. But there are some groups that have been around for a very long time and have grown to insane numbers. DRER, or Delhi Royal Enfield Riders, is one such group.

One of the largest motorcycle communities in Delhi-NCR, DRER has over 2,500 registered members. All Royal Enfield owners, all motorcycle lovers, and all up for a ride for a cause. From road safety to social welfare, DRER rides have had it all. The group was founded by three riders as a WhatsApp group, quite like our beginning with www.bajajpulsar.com. More than a decade later, it is one of the most prolific riding groups in the region.

The group organises rides in various fashions. There are the obvious local weekend rides. There are the occasional special rides that go farther. And then, there are annual rides, celebrating milestones. This piece is about one of their special rides, celebrating the 11th anniversary of DRER.

We joined this ride as community partners and rode alongside around 400 riders on our Suzuki Hayabusa in its Castrol POWER1 livery. Just like they do with our endeavours, Castrol POWER1 has always backed a ride that is aimed at building the motorcycling community and taking India’s motorcycling scene forward.

DRER’s 11th anniversary ride was also supported by Castrol POWER1. The ride was amazing, per usual. What was really awesome to see was the discipline. DRER has been around for a long time, and it shows. Watching a massive group of riders adhering to the rules of the road, rules of the group, and a strict formation is a sight to behold. Equally amazing was the event at the venue, complete with fun activities and giveaways supported by Castrol POWER1.
We enjoyed being a part of this ride and look forward to more of this in the future. Till then, enjoy the photos from the ride and the event. Ride Safe. Ride Hard.
