Ducati Motorcycles India has sent out an invitation to all the auto journalists in India for a press invitation on 15th of this month and from the teaser it looks like that they are going to launch their next generation Ducati XDiavel motorcycle in India.
Hopefully the company will be launching the xDiavel in two variants – xDiavel and xDiavel S.
The company is expanding its motorcycle portfolio very aggressively. They have launched Ducati Panigale 959 in May this year followed by Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak in July and recently in August they introduced an Enduro version of Multistrada 1200.
Ducati India has also inaugurated their 5th dealership of India in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
In terms of specifications Ducati xDiavel, is powered by a 1262cc, Testastretta, L-twin engine that comes mated to a six-speed gear box, which produces maximum power of 156 bhp and a peak torque of 128.9 Nm. The bike is equipped with a slipper clutch. And for braking duties, it has twin 320mm disc brakes at the front along with a 265mm disc brake at the rear as well as a Bosch cornering Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for further assistance.
