Honda has released a video on their YouTube channel titled as “Your horizons are going to change forever” featuring Honda’s City Adventure ADV scooter which was showcased at EICMA 2015 as a concept. Honda also promises to reveal further information on August 30 in the video.
Video doesn’t give us a clear look at the finished machine, but it was enough to confirm some details such as the complex angular design, the upright position, a growling exhaust note and scooter’s off-road as well as long distance touring capabilities.
We have seen many strange concepts over the year and not all have made it to the market, but with this video Honda confirms that City Adventure ADV scooter was no joke and it will be launched very soon.
If City Adventure is launched in India, it will certainly be an attention grabber for sure. Imagine zipping around city roads on this, you stop at a red light and a guy on a Splendor asks you if it is a modified Scooty! Or a cross between Africa Twin and Activa!
The Honda City Adventure features longer-travel suspension, upside-down forks, knobby tyres, wire wheels and a higher-clearance body and exhaust. The scooter is based on the Honda NC750X and uses the same frame, 745cc parallel-twin engine.
