Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India inaugurates Maha Exchange Mela in Delhi on 22nd January 2016. The three day long carnival aims at Spot- Evaluation of Pre-Owned two-wheelers and exchange with support of CredR along with attractive offers on new vehicles.
This is the second iteration of the Maha Exchange carnival, it will be held at Ram Leela Ground, Geeta Colony, East Delhi.
Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, HMSI, said – “Honda’s estimates show that only 10% of 2Wheeler buyers are exchange customers in the organized market while this figure reaches close to 15% if we take the on-organized sector into count. This very low considering that the 2wheeler industry has already crossed the 16 million sales mark. We believe that there is a high latent demand for pre-owned 2wheelers. So after the phenomenal success of our pilot project, Honda has taken a strategic decision to venture into a new business territory of pre-owned Two Wheelers, with the Maha Exchange Mela. By the end of the current financial year FY’2015-16, we aim to expand this concept to 10 cities across India.”
The exchange carnival will give unique opportunity to two-wheeler buyers for spot exchange deals. Any customer who buys a financed new Honda two-wheeler at the carnival will be benefited upto Rs 7,000 over the prevailing market rates. This includes lower interest rates, zero processing and ducumentation charges on finance.
For this carnival Honda has tied up with CredR, an online marketplace for buying and selling of pre-owned automobiles.
