Honda recalls 1.45 lakhs motorcycles in US over faulty rear brake issue. The recall covers the GL1800 model from 2001-2010 and 2012-2015. The recall also affected the GL1800A from 2001-2005 and GL1800B from 2013-2015.

As per Honda the rear brakes can drag after being released by the rider. The company had also reported about eight small fires in 2014. The dealers will replace two brake master cylinders of the affected motorcycles. No timbale has been set for the recall.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said that for some motorcycles this is the third time when Honda recalls for the same issue.
