This past weekend, Indian Motorcycle India organized an Indian Motorcycle Riders Group (IMRG) weekend ride to the Queen of Hills, Mussoorie. The IMRG ride was flagged-off from Polaris Dealership near Arjangarth Metro Station in New Delhi on Friday, April 27, 2018 and reached Mussoorie via Yamuna Nagar and Paonta Sahib. Saturday was spent riding in and around Mussourie, including a ride to Dhanaulti. It culminated after riding for more than 750 kms and riding back to Delhi via the Muzaffarnagar-Merrut route. A large pack of passionate Indian Motorcycle owners rode from Delhi and were joined by more Indian motorcycle owners from Punjab. Then, there were riders who came in from as far as Jammu, Bangalore, & Kerala as well.

Mr. Pankaj Dubey himself
I was lucky enough to be a part of the this ride, riding the Indian Chief Vintage, the mothership in the xBhp garage, and it was such a great experience riding on those mountain roads in the company of some of the most splendid motorcycles in our country. It was my first time riding with the IMRG and the brotherhood and camaraderie that I witnessed among the riders was unparalleled.
The icing on the cake was seeing Mr. Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director & CEO Polaris India & Indian Motorcycle India, singing and dancing with the riders at the party in Mussoorie after the ride. I mean how often do you see the top boss of a company as big as Polaris & Indian Motorcycle shaking a leg with his customers and other team members? Everyone does marketing, ads, discounts, and big events for their customers, but having a personal chemistry with your customers is something that would take you great distance in the long run. Hats off Pankaj sir, you are a rockstar!
Also Bollywood actor and motorcycle enthusiast Rohit Roy had joined the IMRG and rode the Indian Scout Bobber.
“Riding and travelling is inseparable for me. I have been planning a bike trip to the hills and this was the perfect opportunity for me to follow my passion. I have always been an admirer of Indian Motorcycles® and wanted to be a part of this passionate riding community. Riding the Indian® Scout® Bobber to Mussoorie was an experience worth cherishing for a lifetime,” said Rohit Roy.

All in all, it was one memorable ride experience for me and I can’t wait to repeat it very soon!
