Recently during our Farewell 2015 get-together, we had a chance encounter with a Valentino Rossi inspired Kawasaki Z800, sporting the Rossi green highlights over its matte black body. And when it came face to face with our own #ProjectVR46 DSK-Benelli TNT 899, we couldn’t help but admire the duo.
The duo filled a cold Delhi morning with warmth and unleashed a riot of colors. Both of them cater to the same segment and while the Kawasaki has been there for a while (relatively speaking!), the TNT899 is the new entrant in the market but is giving tough competition to the Japanese. We have ridden both of these bikes extensively and we know that it is very difficult when it comes to picking up one as your favorite. They both have their plus and minus points. While the Z800 comes fitted with ABS as standard, the rather radical looks of the TNT 899 are hard to resist. The Z800 is refined and smooth like butter, but the rawness of the TNT899 has its own charm. But we would not do a comparison here, we will just leave you here with a few pictures from that encounter to actually show you what we witnessed.

Hats off to the legend that Valentino Rossi is, not just he has inspired countless racers to go as fast as they can on the race track, but he has also inspired perhaps an even bigger number of motorcycle aficionado to pour their creativity out and dedicate it to their hero.
A special thanks to Jasminder Singh for letting us ride and shoot his beloved Z800.
