Suzuki Motorcycles has showcased their product lineup for 2016 and a Suzuki GSX-R1000 concept for 2017 which is the lightest, most powerful and best handling GSX-R they’ve ever built. This 6th generation GSX-R1000 is also the highest spec’d ever, with multi-mode traction control, rider modes, ABS, ride-by-wire throttle, bi-directional quickshifter, an all-new engine and all-new chassis.
The two models for 2016 are Suzuki SV 650A and Suzuki Van Van200.
The SV 650 was introduced way back in 2009 as a V-twin sports riding motorcycle and soon it became the light weight street motorcycle around the world. The updated version i.e. Suzuki SV 650A is no different but with more of everything. The 645cc liquid-cooled V-Twin has been updated with more than 60 new parts, boasting more low-to-mid range horsepower and torque, as well as improved fuel economy and lower emissions. The SV’s updated chassis incorporates more than 70 new parts and components, and when combined with the new steel truss frame equals a weight reduction of 15 pounds over the previous model. The new SV650 uses 290mm dual front disc brakes and 240mm rear brakes with an ABS system manufactured by Nissin. The front suspension system uses 41mm telescopic front fork tubes, plus a link-type rear suspension. Radial tires run on 17-inch five-spoke cast aluminum wheels.
Suzuki Van Van 200: Suzuki has introduced Van Van with a 75cc capacity hike. As per reports from Suzuki, the Van Van 200 is a 199cc, 4-stroke single cylinder bike and tuned for good low-to-mid-range power. For braking Van Van 200 has single front brake disc with a two-piston caliper and a drum at the back and a 6.5 litres fuel tank.
