Pardon my noob question - On pic 9, where Manan does a wheelie on front wheel - I'm under the impression that the wheels does not get lock due to ABS. If that were the case, then how was that stunt possible

^^First off,it's not the wheelie but stoppie..

Secondly, you can turn the ABS OFF when you are in mood of doing stunts! There is an ON-OFF switch right above the speed-console.

Anyway, very nicely written Manan bhai and some wonderful pics there..

Nice review manan, but i feel instead of putting ABS on and off switch they should make it default that ABS stays in on mode all the time.

I test rode the ABS version yesterday in Bangalore. It is awesome. The breaking distance improves significantly with ABS on. However, it may be just me, I felt the ABS pulse only once no matter how hard I tried and there was slight squealing too. My car doesn't squeal at all with hard braking. The ride was on dry tarmac and very brief though.

Manan, why don't you visibly watermark your pictures. Somebody has stolen the first picture and posted on the official TVS Apache Facebook fan page. And, I didn't see any credit given to you.

I am slightly disappointed by the whole narration... u failed to point out how the feel of the ABS was and how it behaved on different terrain, how you can go into a corner and brake hard and what the result was, how the ABS behaved on slippery and wet roads how much confidence it gave to you as a rider and how much it helped you in gaining confidence on such terrain.... how can a ABS equipped bike help you as a 2 wheeler rider...
We all know about the apache RTR 180 and how well it handles... but you failed to point out how much more the bike handled with help of a ABS... you were simply praising the RTR and its ability to do long distance with Vibes!!!!

Simply said, The write-up is not upto the mark. It talks about all kinds of things from holi, itenary, national highways, etc but not the bike..
The only paragraph he talked about the bike was-"The bike performs really well in the hills......the bike has got rock solid suspension and body built." ie para 6.
The writer simply forgot that this is a first impression of the ABS system on the bike..
Please throw some more light on the ABS, and other features on the bike like the DC electricals, and what else is new.. I heard that they changed the tyres too, is that the true.. I would love to hear on topics like these..
                                And - No offense.
