@melroyal: have you installed the frame sliders now on your bike ? or planning soon. Would be good if you can put a small "How To" guide for the same. I don't think the SVC guys wil do that ? however did you speak to them about it ? or planning to get this done outside or yourself ?Originally posted by melroyal View PostSorry bro to hear about the damages to your bike that too when it was not your fault. Please do put frame slider for your GT,I will be installing mine soon.

The sliders bracket is fixed on the engine mount.A small cut is made in the fairing for the sliders to protrude outside.
R&G racing brand is available here in India for the GT650R.

Apart from a handful of bikes (most of them the showroom display units) Bajaj has not been able to deliver any bikes anywhere in the country. So far in Chennai, only one delivery done on the 15th July. Latest news that I received was that some bikes have arrived at Chakan, and are being assembled for the customers in the priority list.
What is your booking number - as in where are you in the booking order? I am #2 in Chennai and am yet to get mine. If you're on FB, PM me your details and I will add you to the FB page dedicated to 650R owners. More details will be available there.

Well, at first even I too was inclined towards N650 but when I got to see GT650R, every thought of N650 vanished. This was exactly the type of bike i was looking for , for years. It revs amazing. I got one delivered 10 days back & I have already done 400kms on it, runs like a dream. Worth every penny. The looks are awesome, the roar is roarachious & though the cost is high compared to N650, you cant do much about it. One of course has to shell extra bucks for a better ride !!!Originally posted by SKSy_Biker View PostNice one there Sunny, gives a nice perspective on the similarities and differences between the two competitors in the segment. Even though I was more biased towards the N650R, the review does make me think twice about GT650R.
And ofc attaching the attestation to the fact that you prefer GT650R (booking receipt
) leaves no doubt about your personal preference of bike. Congrats on the booking
PS: Lovely pictures as usual!

After Dreaming about the Ducati Monster 796 for a while, I am planning get the Ninja 650R.
Its quite stupid to ask this Question on a 650CC..... But I am very eager to know what is the Mileage per liter fuel on the Ninja 650R.
The main reason for asking is, the fuel tank capacity is 15.5 Litres, so I need to be sure when to refill.
I like every aspect of the Ninja 650R, seating posture, Dual headlamps etc. But is it worth to buy over the Ninja 250R? I am a daily commuter to office (50Kms), Weekend drives for about 50-100Kms, once in 2-3 months a long trip for about 600Kms.
