Sound is superb. Bajaj added KTM link next to ninja in their website. Bajaj Auto - Bikes in India | Bike Prices | New Bikes | Buy Bikes Online | Two Wheeler Manufacturer India | Latest Motorcycles India | Sports Bikes

Yeah but it just takes you to the KTM site. Doesn't list the bike on the Bajaj site itself like other bikes (ex: Ninja)Originally posted by ramesh330 View PostSound is superb. Maybe to do with the fact that unlike KTM,KAWSAKI doesn't have an independent site for India.Originally posted by Shubz View PostYeah but it just takes you to the KTM site. Doesn't list the bike on the Bajaj site itself like other bikes (ex: Ninja)Smoke rubber, not tobacco.

They may take your name/ph no etc but will not accept booking amounts. IMHOOriginally posted by devesh38 View Postat Auto Expo, will Bajaj be taking bookings for the duke 200??
It wouldn't have been a random number that Bajaj/KTM would've come up with. There would've been some logic behind this capacity. Personally I feel this is perfect for a city bike. If the tourers are worried, except in remote places like the NE, every highway is dotted with fuel stations. (this has been discussed earlier as well)Originally posted by Horror View PostHey how come the fuel tank capacity is only 10.5 litres? Isn't that a bit less for a 200cc bike?

I can tell at least about Assam that it is far from being "remote" as it is visualized (OT: also Assam isn't Hilly either..!!)Originally posted by Shubz View PostIt wouldn't have been a random number that Bajaj/KTM would've come up with. Also I am not sure how many stretches can one find in India where it's difficult to find a petrol bunk in between 200-250 kms interval.

Sir - No disrespect here. When I said NE - I had really remote places like Leh/Ladakh and beyond!Originally posted by payeng View PostI can tell at least about Assam that it is far from being "remote" as it is visualized (OT: also Assam isn't Hilly either..!!)
And I only know what has been talked about on forums like these (about fuel station being far from each other). There could be other places too with fuel stations being far apart.
Coming back to the point - 10.5 L tank I personally feel is quite optimum. The tourers can always carry additional fuel going by the geography. Moreover the Duke is being presented as a city bike - No?

If thats the price range 1.2L-1.3L then it's going to be really value for money considering what's on offer from KTM. By the looks of it they should have the bike for a test ride before deliveries and I'd be first in line when they do!!!Speed, it seems to me, provides the one genuinely modern pleasure.
