My initial observations
1.It looks bigger than I thought . I actually think its heavier than 126kgs without fuel(as mentioned in brouchure) with saree-guard and lubricants.Tank looks biger than 11L.
2.Accessories used in this bike are quite exotic from the radial tyres, brembo disks, digi console/cockpit,trellis frame, thicker suspensions (really thick infact thicker than enfields I guess) which also means if you drop you may have to pay big like Ninja's.
3.Fit and finish of the bike LOOKS great but again looks can be deceptive.
4.Rear looks the sexiest.
The salesman as ususal was blabbering its the fastest on road.He didnt clearly say anyhting on the rev-limiter,mileage or the petrol octane suggested.
My Concerns:
1.Compression ratio of 11.5 - There have been issues with CR 10.x FI machines like R15 and CBR with adultered petrol. how will KTM handle it when we tour on remote places.
2.Ground clearance : I dont know if anybody noticed this or not. The suspensions dips quite a bit when 2 people sitting on it. I am speaking specially of the belly pan with stock settings and we living in the speed-breaker Mecca should be concerned.
3.Nothing concrete yet on Rev limiter as of yet from even the salesman and so the topspeed.
4.Rear seat is too high and small in size for ladies but better than R15.
5.Sound transforms totally after 4-5k rpm and shows it true street hooliganisms.
Some Facts:
Brakes have 4 piston in-front and 1 in back
Engine oil used is Motul 20W50
Tank capacity is 11L (not 10)
P.S. the KTM brouchure has 4 more bikes infront KTM 350 SX-F,990 Adventure,1190 RC8,690 SMC R. Are they hinting something else why these 4 ??

With its full accessories, in india, it won't allow any1 to go past it without a corner gaze
(Not sure of my top speed). Bike has the ability of picking up normally from 10 km/hr even in 3rd gear.
