guys i had read in several forums and internet blogs and site that bajaj was giving out the duke 200 with a rev limiter till 7000/8000 rpm during the first run in period and then this rev limiter being raised after the first service. Is this just a rumor/does it hold truth...? My point is if something like that is gonna be/is being done on the duke 200 as to safeguard the engine's life and performance, will/can it be also done on the p200 NS also...?

It looks very neat and cleanly finished work. Do you still possess this p220...i mean the dts-fi...i just asked because nowadays its a rare piece of art and machinery you know....hey why don't you add more finese to that two tone treatment and some how try to extent that two tone slightly into the tank section also just like on the p200 NS.i could look even more cool done in the right way.Originally posted by nitrosatya View Post^Sure bro. Thanks alot Satya for updating the pic. The bike looks nice. Don't get me wrong but I am not able to identify the 2-tone treatment on ur bike.Originally posted by nitrosatya View Post^Sure bro. Year 2009. You have to see this in person to appreciate the change.

Also when I first drove the 220 DTSFi it was like the best bike I ever drove till that time atleast. Some people say that it is available on order.. is it true?? Why they stopped it.. Only becz of high price tag... or something else..?Last edited by Enthusiastic; 03-07-2012, 09:46 AM.Whats there in a signature?

Thats a damn good question..
I never knew of this proposal being done on Duke. guess the Duke is taking its business in India very seriously.

Who would believe if i said i had suggested Bajaj the coloring of mid panels black. No one would. Bajaj took the suggestion and did exactly the same.

If you check the ownership thread, you will realize that the rumored revlimiter is not a rev-limiter but just a user configurable warning light. You *can* rev it till the moon even during run-in (not that it is recommended) but the only thing being the warning lights will come on to warn you that you are revving too high.Originally posted by Shibadip View PostThats a damn good question..

If we know anything about Pulsars from the past, rest assured, that the only version which will sell will be the premium one. There has never been 2 (premium and non premium) versions of the same Pulsar. Thats is what Hero Honda was for (= Optional disc brakes / electric start). So lets not give them any such *brilliant* ideas.Originally posted by sayank10 View Postfirst we gotta find out is there any premium version for real?Advice is a form of nostalgia.

The rear (radial) tyre of the R15 V2.0 is of he same size/profile as that on the P200NS.. i.e 130/70 x 17
One can also get one of the best road tyres the Pirelli Sport Demon, which is available in a variety of sizes including that of the P200NS Front (100/80-17) and Rear (130/70-17 ).
