i have seen that..and i work in an indian OEM..:P
    odo meter is not connected..
noted, i didnt know that bajaj also tests all its bikes before shipping out just like all other international brands, but if they can give competition to international brands then they obviously hav raised their final products standard too by testing them before shipping
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride!' -Hunter S. Thompson

and they wud have tested that like hell before anouncing it.
it is called engine dynamometer.they also need arai approval too, otherwise manufacturers will go on to claim un-realistic figure.

and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
      #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

            • Edgar is born & brought up at BMW guy he was with BMW since 1986, it appears that he took a break for change and worked at Bajaj exclusively for next gen pulsar design. Now that's done, he is going back to BMW to his old job.

No wonder someone commented on seeing photos of the P200NS for the first time as "It looks something like a BMW design"

To me the "Goatee" like twin pilot lamps is a awesome design signature

                  • When is the price reveal?
Would definitely wait till people report the actual mileage as bajaj always exaggerates it. Anything above 45kmpl is a thumbs up though!
Be the change you want to see in other Riders!

for 4wheelrs its chassis dynamo meter and 2wheelrs it will be engine dynamo meter.

and its not mandatory that the vehicle manufacture has to get ARAI certification. But its soon goin to come..probably this year itself.
Now OEMS take arai certification bcause of the credibility...under current scenario manufacture can check at his place and very well claim any mileage he wants without puttin arai name..
                        Cheers

Agree with you.. Painfully waiting for 2 months (roughly including the delays) for the bike and then another month or two of running-in... frustrating..

@inder.cool: the showroom guy said that premium is for a set better tyres (he said he's not sure of the other changes) and he quoted the bike price to be 1 - 1.10 lakhs.
1-1.10 laks... is it OTR or EX-showroom? for premium one?

on road.the bajaj i visited earlier quoted the same.price very unlikely if to go buy bajaj's vfm proposition.

Ok is it for the premium one ? Base model should cost under 100K right?
