Well, i was initially attracted to Duke 200 due to its looks and low weight, but i'm not expecting it to give anything more than 25kmpl which is un affordable for me... thats the reason why i turned to pulsar... i would have loved the pulsar even more if it was 13x, but then i guess it would have costed 1.2 lacs which might affect duke's sales...
Anyways, i'm guessing(or rather hoping) bajaj comes up with a ABS version of pulsar, which is 7-8k costlier than the standard one, that would be great for people wanting an ABS option...
And i also hope they have a Full Black(or fear the black) option, because i personally hated all the dual tone color schemes they showcased
Well if you check the ownership thread, most Dukes on the forum are returning FE in the 44-55kmpl (by tankful method) range the highest being 60.xxkmpl at 70-80 on the highway. So you can rest assured it won't drop to 25 under most circumstances.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Pls check the ownership thread; ppl are reporting varied figs nothing less than 45 Kmpl. At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised to hear if it returns 35 Kmpl when ridden as it deserves on highways.

Most ppl r in love with this dual tone color and it would break their hearts if it was launched it in a single color. Personally I would prefer the dual tone.
        Whats there in a signature?

What's there to get confused? If you've moolah, Duke 200, otherwise P200NS. Simple!!!

Yes definitely. The middle panels will be black. The single tone is test only.

Who would believe if i said i had suggested Bajaj the coloring of mid panels black. No one would. Bajaj took the suggestion and did exactly the same.
Thank you Mr Tandon for listening to us.

              Ride safe future P200NS owners!

Well Bajaj wanted the opinions from existing P220 owners for their new Pulsar. It was many years back. And i showed them my P220 with the two-tone treatment. And how different it looked from existing one. Looks like they listened.

But i also suggested them to remove the rear grab handles and put a plastic cowl instead of rear seat. They did not do it.

Quite obvious they wouldn't do it; in the country where 4 people ride on a single bike, one person one bike is too much to ask

But do Pulsar owners belong to the 4 people category?

Oh!!! Yes; atleast here in Chennai; except a few, most people who've P220's are worse than hooligans; trust me, its not the machine or BAL, I've a negative opinion on P220 owners at the first sight just because of such morons!!!

Anyway, getting back to P200NS, looks like its a wonderful piece of engineering; I'm only worried about one factor - power in wrong hands

when the key to ultimate hooliganism comes just at 87 k rs.,it is quite obvious that a rossi will born in every alley.

                              want to share a experience,was riding passion,crossed a 220 carrying 3 people @50 kmph,a second later what i hear is loud exhaust note ,slang and i see a flying 220.my bad,i overtook a 220

and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                              #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.
