Here are the pictures and process.

Apparatus: scissors, Cutter, Hightensile paper clip, Old Discarded Inner rubber Tube from a LMV, or as it suits you ( Should be slightly thick)

Pls have a look at the image before reading, Measure and cut a part of the rubber inner Tube, starting from half way of rear mudflap to wards the second part of the mudflap near the Rear Shock, on the extreme ends, fold the rubber on the insides of the exixting mudflaps, secure with a high tensile clips, Put a wire or a strond nylon thread, through the clips to prevent from slipping of someone removing it. Contraption ready fro rains, It save a lot of hassels in cleaning the bike after every ride in the rain.

@MG - sorry sir , but i was not able to find the relevant answer for my doubt regarding the faired version .. i just dont want to feel that i have bought a second best pulsar when the faired pulsar gets launched ..

Wow, Nice review, I got My RED Baby 2 weeks back after endless wait, its simply amazing , Due to rains on and off taking it out on sunny days only, done 400kms, in runin period, so no experiments for now, Since the time i got it, i have been stopped by curious teenagers on the road, highways just to have a look of the bike, it just looks different, bold and full of muscle. great pickup, great ride, getting used to one down and up pattern, after riding my pulsar150 for 11 years.

lack of centre stand is a irritant, following up with sai service for the same, still not available, the rear split mudflaps are impractical, even though it gives a sporting character, a single drive in the rain filled up the rear underbody full of mud and grime. Have developed a low cost contraption, will share the pics soon, can be constructed for Rs. 20/- only, yes you heard it right, will keep the same till the rains, saved my rear end from mud and grime, and also protects the painted underbody of tail light end. tank Body and panels are plastics/ FRP , paint is very prone to scratches, suggestion would be to get it waxed and polymer sealed.

Right now just enjoying my ride, will keep posted, as days go by.

Fellow being, time goes by and there will be more better bikes coming up in the industry. If you keep waiting for the best, then you wont get to see it even if your entire life in this world ends. If you are in a need to get a new bike, get the best one currently available, and thats it. Even after the P200 SS, there will be more better bikes announced from Bajaj as well as from others. So why wait?

that is true if one is looking to wait for a long time .. we know that ss will be launched in very near future , thats why i asked

i will only wait for the faired version if its spy pics emerge by the time i take delivery of my ns ...otherwise , i will happily go ahead with my ns ..
why is bajaj taking so much time to make ns available everywhere in india ? are they doubtful about the bike ?

Well, they don't want to risk it and also spread the word through word of mouth pubicity !

is this pulsar as reliable as an Yamaha or Honda? would its quality appeal to bikers that are used to best that is there in our country? my only concern with it is reliability, i really like this bike but you as have tested it so extensively can you elaborate on this? and share your experience of mechanical issues that you may have encountered while testing.. i don't want to be an beta version..

currently have r15v1 since 2.5 years.. i like razor sharp handling, good suspension for spirited driving, brakes as good as i have been used to on the r15, basically a good sorted out bike..

But not like that ugly hugger or first pulsar 135ls. Some thing more innovative. Stylish..

But only one thought !! Why not a Gem 250cc ?? When we already had P220 in line!!

Guys slightly off topic, but is Bajaj offering any option of exchanging one's existing Bajaj bike for the new 200 NS
