I think it was the overhead tricep extension. Thats one of the exercises where there's a possibility of snapping your muscle Happened to me once while i was doing the same exercise with a 22.5kg dumbell , but it was the shoulder joint, it got twisted

Right guys. It was the over head tricep position (anime girl from the pic). I was on my 5th set when it happened. I was feeling a burn in the area during sets 3 and 4 already. Pushed for fatigue though and what a fatigue I encountered!

^ Always remember to stretch your muscles out now and then in between sets. Helps to reduce fatigue and increase size

I started working out from june 2013. Have lost 15 kgs in total since then. Now that its winter I'm so lazy to do cardio, have put on 3 extra kgs.

Guys, if you want we can have a separate gymnasium thread. I simply gave an OT update (mentioned OT too) but then it has entered 2 pages.

To start off, could anybody please take the trouble to let me know if there are exercises which could reduce tummy?
Apart from walking or jogging.. It would be of great help! Internet is flooded with false information so asking here

Cardio like cycling and jogging will help a lot. The exercise should be done for at least five days a week, 30 min sessions. You will start to feel the difference in 6-7 weeks time.

There is nothing like cycling. It helps reduce your tummy, gives strength to you legs and increases your stamina.. am getting myself a cycle soon after winter passes by in Delhi.. time to reduce my small tummy..

+ you need a proper diet. I'm not saying you should starve your a$$ off. Just eat healthy and you should reduce easily

At my young age(Long AGO) I used to do dead weight straight lift of 75 Kgs, with repeat of 4 times with 2 minutes gap...now my Six Pack had become SINGLE PACK...still the abdominal muscle tone exists at a lesser strength..Now a days I am laid back and do only 12 Kg Dumbels of 6 times 3sets,that too once or twice a week...takes about 15 minutes and no sweat...and no muscle pain...so I am still in my Safe area of operation.
The thing to remember when you start a work out is, to slowly warm up the muscles and work within safe level....A Muscle or Tendon Injury can actually become a prolonged problem and will come back to haunt you at old age...since the scars will be there...So remain within Safe levels, and if you had remained docile for some time, then start working out in a stepped manner like a newbie....
