The new phone that you might be talking about is E72. It has a 5 Megapixel Autofocus Cam, near excellent music, etc...

Secondly, E63 is also a good phone... Having used one long time back, I can say its speedy and reliable...

NOTE: Guys, if the phone you're having/ buying has no GPS built in, don't worry.
External GPS modules work better as you can place them separate from the mobile, in direct satellite line of view...

For example, you can place your GPS Module on the front windscreen whereas mobile is inside the car...

Nokia's Bluetooth GPS Module LD-4w should be great to use, with your 6303 Classic or E63 or even some older sets...

Both are two of the most unreliable phones Nokia ever made...

N97's users are frustrated with bad touch response, OS instability, sluggishness, etc. that MAY or MAY NOT be solved by a firmware update...

For X6, it might have a creak here and there. There are some OS Issues like 32 GB Memory disappearing on formatting the set, slow response, sluggishness, freezing, etc.

If you want these two sets, test the latest firmwares before you purchase them...

I would recommend Samsung Wave 8500... But before that, please clarify your needs?

I know what you guys are about to read might sound really weird, but here it goes. Well i just earned a few bucks last month and i was just about to buy an HTC Legend as it has all the professional functions that i wanted. But now a friend of mine has raised a question, why not buy a PS3 for the same (prolly less) amount of money. The cellphone can be bought later.. Guys please suggest me, should i go for PS3 because i think it makes more sense to own a gaming console right now as i wanted 2 have a playstation since ages and finally now i'm getting chance to get it. Or should i go for the HTC Legend.?

if you go for phone you could show it off but soon you will get bored of it ... ps3 same thing the gaming cds of ps3 are too costly ... and you will have a problem of tv sharing.....

when I was buying I was suffering from same thing . nokia n97 or ps3 .....

what I did was got a nokia 5800 and ps2 .. lol...

Close your eyes and buy the PS3, the value of a mobile diminishes very quickly.

Rather than n97 I would suggest you a N97 Mini.

Earlier I had owned N82, N97 mini, Omnia 890i and had Used many more, I would say mini is anyday VFM. Better than N97 in nearly every term, a younger sibling of 97 with all the positive's of its elder bro, and nearly no negetives.

Pro's
UI is great, touch responce way better than N97 & no mis-taps.

Resistive touch dosn't feels like one.

loads of third party apps available.

No flaws with 8gb onboard & 16gb external.

QWERTY is delight, 3 row key layout & easily accessible keys, great press feedback.

Form factor is SOLID, no creaky plasticky feel whatsoever, built to last, compact &solid design in comparison to every touch device from nokia.

S60v5 at its best, works great, 128MB ram never let you down.

Default browser can handle a full fledged 5mb web page with flash content. In simpler words browser is cool.

Music & Fm - superb, Video's - great (for 640*480 resolution). Widget's - cool.

Speakers are great, minimum distortion good & loud sound output, though lacks bass but No nokia device has it. Hai Na?

gPS system takes few mins to find sattelite, once found its killer, inbuilt compass (once activared) is delight, included maps in pack never let you loose track.

Full screen wallpaper, ah! That's one thing I missed in every Symbian, but no more, s60v5 has it.

3G, 2G, Edge, GPRS, all in all great experience.

Mini in white & chocklet is spot on, grabs attention.

Somehow, N82 was too niggly(only camera & GPS being the best of all times), kept restarting when someone called while am on Opera, hanged, un-reliable, n81 laggy super slow device(good for just gaming & music), N70 & N72 lesser said is better, N96 simply pain lesser usable more showoff, N97 slow, laggs, touch bugs, 5800 hangs, poor camera, no qwerty, battery suxx, thick poor form factor, (purely my openion)

but here, Mini is simply flawless compared to above. Though N79, N95 8gb(xcept battery life), classic N73(xcept slow UI) are some other good nokia symbians.

i dont use mini, I kill it over using, so 1500mah battery would have been better.

Camera's picture quality is poor in comparison to N82, not so good detailing, distorted focus & ISO is always wrong.
Though N82 had a legendry camera so comparison ain't justifiable. One more thing, diffrence is made because of flash, xenon vs dual led. For any other 5mp dual led, mini's camera is good.

In-box headphone could have been better though box included 3 diffrent ear bud's are great relife, I miss the Tv-out too.


I have never used a x6 so cant comment on that.

Thinking about to buy a nokia x6 16 GB . should i wait for the 8 GB version or rather go for 16 GB. Is it a value for money mobile? what about the camera?

After lots of googling i found this phone. my thoughts were same as u , but after googling i found that most of the sites are comparing this phone with the big phones such as, Apple iphone 3g,samsung wave, htc hd2, sony erricson vivaz etc.
so i become quite interested. for that reason i m asking all of u to give some valuable opinions.

I want to give you some info about PS3... It has better hardware than Xbox 360 no doubt!

But, its processor (nicknamed "Cell") is so complicated that its been underutilized so far by the game developers...
So, any game on both PS3 and XBox360, will look better on Xbox 360...

Sony have pointed out indirectly that the PS4 will be a Dual/ Quad Core processor like the ones used in PC's, for easy game designing.
So, I suggest that you get a XBox 360, despite myself being a PS Fan.

If you do get the Legend though, you can buy PS2 for Rs. 6000 or so...

Nokia 2710 Navigator - great GPS, free navigation, and great music quality, opera browser, etc.
There may be cheaper, but this one seems good.

It has a great camera, and above average audio quality...

But then it hangs a lot, and if you format it, you'll lose the 32/16 GB memory (True with Firmware 1.11 atleast)

You browse some websites on it, do some cursor movement and there- it goes into a coma.

I suggest that you buy Samsung Wave. Rs. 18,000 - excellent audio quality, 5 MP Cam, HD Video Recording, and a new but good OS - Bada OS...

ps3 you gor blueray... ps3 is not only ps3 but ps ps2 and psp also ... some where it said about versions of ps3 ....

when I was going to buy ps3/xbox 360 . I campared it and the result was ps3 better in many ways.....

but saying truth you don't need a gaming console ... use pc for some gaming after all.......
