I have changed my mind&decided to go for the yet to be released E7 from Nokia.

Funny how, In all the above comments and recommendations no one talked about a Motorola Milestone or Milestone 2, HTC Legend or Desire...

No one has used these phones or no one's a fan oF Motorola or HTC at all!!!

Big fan of desire/legend/milestone in that order. Couldn't afford it. wanted to checkout wildfire (little brother of desire), but not available. so went for wave.

N8 is the iPhone killer IMO!
I saw that N9 is also coming soon, which is essentially an all-aluminium N8+QWERTY slider, with 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB ROM, 64GB internal+32GB extendable. But the main difference is it will not run Symbian.
Nokia has declared that N8 is the last flagship Symbian phone, henceforth Symbian will be reserved for the mid range phones. High end phones get a Mee Go OS, which is a Linux OS in collaboration with Intel.
They have declared that the 1st Mee Go phone will be available before end of this year, that is the N9.
Overall, I feel that Nokia will take time to stabilize their Linux based OS. Maemo didn't sell upto their expectations, though they used it in their N800, N810, N900 also.
Therefore, since I'm not a great fan of Android, I have decided to go for the upcoming E7.
What do you think of it?

Got myself a Samsung Galaxy S... only reason why i didnt go for HTC Desire is because NO store had it in stock.. close to where I live. But still... I love the handset!

Only drawback is Vodafone GPRS/V Live! settings cant be set... called vodafone to get the settings, they sucked as usual! am still trying to fix it.

ANYONE who can help me with the settings, will be a great help!

iPhone is damn cool for applications dude n it's touch sensitivity. I bought n8 mainly for the cam n video recording. They av declared dat n9 won't have the n8's multimedia features. So I opted out. . Av no idea bout e7 but seems dat it has fixed focus n less battery life. Wait fir the review on gsmarena dude

Seems, you got bright light at the back (against the camera), while 'bobby' is in the shade. Its not good to have bright light as background with subject in the shade either for photo or video, they mess up the lighting. Also the room seems not to have enough light. Poor light will result in grainy picture. Try capturing with light behind the camera and not against the camera. Anyway, for best result, capture video outside during daytime. I think things will look much better.

yup will do...it was raining outside when i took this..will be going to blore tomorrow so there will be pictures galore...but this 51 second clip tool 80mb of space..if thats the case then i might beed to buy a 16gb card...

I always love browsing about the new phones online and checking about its features, whatever phone I buy; never got satisfied and starts to drool on the new phones, coz there is so much out there..
UNTIL I own a phone that takes me to a different world altogether.
Games/Apps/Texting/browsing/ obviously calling..whatever u do on this phone u will love it.
Now I dont even bother lookin any new phones, coz i got what I need.

What phone I have - IPHONE 3GS

try to get them from the site they do have the settings for samsung phones. i had the same problem before. even my friend with the new wave was facing the same thing. these companies really do suck a lot man.

Hi buddy... Since my Samsung innov8 was returned to company, I do internet only on cyber cafes's...

I'm also purchasing Nokia N8 after seeing its reviews and that high audio quality... Its coming in 5-7 days, and I hope they get me the blue color...

Nokia E7 seems fine but its 8 mp camera has no autofocus. Means you can forget taking text photos...
Also, will only 16 GB memory be fine for you? E7 has no card slot... I'll be using my N8 with a 8 GB Card I had spare...

@ satan69: Maybe you should try the VGA (640x480) mode with 30 fps... But still, since it records audio at 128 kbps high quality stereo, it will always take up more space than any other older mobile...
