    • After lot of thinking i decided not to buy the N79 but something newer & snazzier.
I'm getting a samsung wave @15k. It has been used for about 35 days, has a retailer's bill(the original bill) and complete warranty coverage.
I still feel that a second hand wave does not have 15k's worth. I think 14k is the right price.
      Please shed some more light

Dont you think the first part matters a lot ?? I love the UI of I phone and the smartness of the touchscreen. But, end of the day, i want to text without seeing the keypad and i keep switching between apps simultaneously.

If only i can true multitask, i will surely start using the I phone.

@Vinoob : My basic requirement for a secondary phone is s60 latest edition, fastest processor/phone in Nokia, Bullet proof battery backup(1500Mah).

WIFI,3G,Build in GPS receiver, accelerometer, good audio output and a phone which takes time to start hanging.

Only E series fall under this category. No touch phones.

yes you are right...i am kind of fed up with the lack or TRUE multitasking on the iphone...the multitaksing on IOS4 is not the actual one,it just suspends the app in the background....but aside from that my phone is an addiction to me...i used to loathe iphone before for lack of features but now cant live without it as everything from bluetooth to applications are all cracked and ready to use..

but right now am waiting for th en8 with baited breath...more 12 days to go...perfect replacement for my 2.5 year old n82...

as i said above am not a great fan of E-series...coz of the way de buttons r put up..u will never get a good music phone in E-series,,they r purely meant for business and less in entertainment.E series hangs less when compared to n series so it might be a good choice..and am not sure abt any E mobile which has accelerometer, thy don't need them
            i can recomend u E5,E73 and E7[touch screen].
on my view touch screen qwerty r much faster than de physical one..i always love texting in touchscreen they r quick and accurate and need less pressure..editing text is mind blowing...
if u r concerned about hanging of Symbian devices then y don't u try a Nokia n900,,which is much stable,,and has a physical qwerty too.,i have used it for a month,,,
if u need a good battery life then e73 is de best with a heapy 1500mah battery.

i am a apple fan boy so i recommend u iPhone 4g also,,they r de best in de market,,,multitasking is bearable in iPhone, thy r pretty well put up,,any day Nokia r de best in multitasking ,,but they r slower on de other hand,,,

now a days touch screens r common wid qwerty keyboard on them....dude change up ur mind for a touch screen device,,,

Actually, an HD resolution has to be a minimum of 1280x720, with full HD being 1920x1080. The iPhone clearly has only 960x640, which is well below HD. That is still quite a lot pixels packed into the that 3.5 inch screen, though, way more pixel density than all the other phones, Android smartphones included. It's a great phone nonetheless. I absolutely love the way it looks, with the simplicity of design, which I rate over the other phones, plus its great battery life to boot. but at the end of the day, I'm inclined to go with Android.

Nokia E-Series phones rock, by the way. The best of the Nokia lot, I feel. Don't care much for music functions and the other multimedia stuff anyway, and so it is for the N-Series as well, with all their lagginess and all. Nothing to beat the solid performance of the E-Series.

Ok, first, there is not much difference between E72 and E73 hardware wise. E73 is just an redesigned E72, but locked to a particular carrier only. You cannot buy E73 off the shelf. AFAIK E52,E55 and E72,E73 has accelerometer.

I like to keep phones simple. Say candy-bar phones. No sliders. Am not much interested with the N900 and its OS. I think the 600 Mhz processor in E52/E55/E72/73 is pretty faster than N900 600 Mhz processor unless its over-clocked since the E series are all just candy bar phones and doesn't have the touch input which consumes some processing power and also battery backup.

Just use multitasking in E72 and let me know how it is ;-)

@satan69in : After jail breaking, i think we can run true multitasking for certain applications which can be specifically included in the list.

yeah i know tht E72 AND E73 are not that DIFFERENT,,,coz u dont like e72 i referred u e73..n900 is de fastest phone which nokia has ever created, maemo os is stable not like symbian one..e 72 has ARM 11 600 MHz processor and n90 has ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz with PowerVR SGX530 graphic card...so it makes a huge difference,,,both the processors r entirely different which make N900 much much quicker than other nokia phones.n900 is a let down when u compare de battery backup.

my colleague has got E72...its good in multitasking,,but it hangs often,,,thtz common in Nokia , so no issues,,,get a e72 which is de best e series phone till date..i really like de illumination at de dpad..same like de blacberry one..

                    i dont think so

cause the whole multi tasking thing whether jailbreaked or not is not true multi tasking...in iphone4 the apps are suspended in the background..for example you are opening a page in safari and while doing so you open messages, the safari just hangs up...when you go to safari again, then teh page loads up(starts from where it was paused)..

                    • Uh, mobile phone experts, can you please let me know how to convert a hig resolution video to a low resolution video? Because i use a Sony Aino U10i and the videos i put on them from the computer are of high resolution and don't play that clearly on the phone screen as it is not a HD screen. Or please let me know where i can find low resolution videos which have the exact resolution as my screen i.e, 432*240.
                      TIA.

use a video convertor ! what formats does your Phone support . if it supports mp4 then i suggest Win Avi Mp4 convertor . this converts pretty fast at 450 fps on my computer .

@Puneet1 : I did convert them to the required (screen size) resolution, but still plays a little blur.

am not sure whether u can get videos of ur screen resolution,,u need converter thzz the only go or try to Google it up...i don't think u can play HD videos on ur AINO as its not a AMOLED, super AMOLED or a LCD screen wid a resolution of more than 306*640..

try using this converter...which is quite better than any other converters..
