I think the 5mpx cam on N95/85/79/82 ... they are good enough for a mobile cam. AFAIK - all these have the same lens and sensor ?
Dare I say it, the K790/K810 3.2MPx are almost as good.
Everybody knows the Mpx is not the only factor in determining quality of pics ... and the so called "teaser" pics released from the N86...it doesn't look like a quality 8mpx photo. I agree with synn. The race for more mpx has not seen any drastic improvement in quality of photos.Comment

@ Synn: But N86 is not even mentioned in Text?? In fact, the PDF is not about N86 at all ... It's about all devices.
and please check the Data Sheet again, NEXT LINE of this ... it does say Image Sensor = 8 Megapixels. 100% sure! Check it again!The data sheet for N86 doesn't say "Image sensor =8 MP", it says "Image CAPTURE upto 8 mp". BIG DIFFERENCE. Technically, they are not lying. The camera WILL take 8 MP pictures. It just happens that at anything above 6 MP, the software calculates the extra pixels.
They are addressing all 5 MP phones. N86 is not even released??Again, that PDF is for the sensor module Nokia uses in a variety of phones. If you read carefully, the sentence is " Many of the N series devices as well as the Nokia 6220 classic..." Does that sound like they are addressing only one phone to you?
N86 Picture proves nothing. it's to show Nokia-CZ connection, even in flagship. That's it.
and yes, I agree that Megapixels don't matter much, when shooting close range at least.---

The phone was being developed as an N85 update (with 6 MP), but was bumped up to 8 MP for marketing reasons.
For the last time, the PDF is about the Zeiss SENSOR used in Nokia phones. It's the same goddamn sensor in ALL the phones!
Such press materials are prepared a long time before the phones arrive at the market place. The N86 not being released has nothing to do with the text in it.

^ All right, All right, Let N86 reviews come to spill the truth ... For me, 6 - 8 MP is a "VERY LARGE" marketing jump ... Seems very unlikely...

Do ask around before you buy the Innov8. It's a great handset with an amazing array of features, but I've read some reports online that say that it has some network connectivity issues. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who has one, so i can't clarify this further.

Problem with SE K790i
My PC restarts whenever I connect my cell, after the cell restarts for entering connection state. The PC speakers emit a weird noise before restarting. There wasn't a problem earlier, nor there is on other PCs I use the cell on. Can someone please suggest???Comment

I'm waiting for the Nokia 6303 to come to India, but otehr then that can anyone suggest a decent phone for around 10K? Trying to save a little. Had spent 15K few months back and the phone was stolen in the hospital.
I'm looking for something with a good camera. The 6303 comes with a 3.2 so something like that. No Motorola / LG
