    Performance wise, S2 must be ahead. But do we really use to its hardware potential?
    You will never use any Hardware to its full potential. Errr..... I was talking about your R15(from the pic). But we still need it. Dont we. i believe the same applies here too.

    Jokes apart, seriously you need consider the S2. Just have a look at the screen and you will never consder any other phone.Use it and let us know. If its not SGS2 for you, then it should be LG2X because the screen is way ahead of Sony's. But when you have access to SGS2, i would say you are wasting time looking for other phones.

    • Guys I am looking for a phone with 3G and excellent GPS navigation. Price around 10K. I dont really bother about the other features like camera, OS, touch etc.
      I need GPS because it would be really helpful while touring on a bike. It would be nice if it comes with something like MapMyIndia pre-installed as I don't need to kill my data plan every time I need to navigate a new place. Some of my friends told me the Nokia mobiles with GPS like C5 have something called Ovi Maps which comes free of cost. I haven't seen anyone use it though. But if Ovi Maps is good then I don't mind downloading maps on my computer and loading them to the mobile before I start off on a trip.
      Some inputs on this please.

      • Got Galaxy S2 yesterday
        Still yet to explore it, but its damn fast. Tried out some HD games, works brilliant.

        But, I am not completely happy with its Build quality, primary reason I dint go for Galaxy S earlier. No dedicated Camera button.
        But phone is light weight and slim, doesnt feel in the pocket.

        Will post my detail review later.

        @Thejus
        HDMI? Its has got only MicroUSB.

          it has an MHL port :|

          There's a small but important fact about Samsung's newest Android flagship that slipped under our radar last week at Mobile World Congress. The Galaxy S II is the first smartphone to feature an MHL port. MHL, as you'll recall, was first announced in 2008 as the Mobile High-Definition video Link "standard" for mobile devices promoted by a consortium that includes Nokia, Samsung, Toshiba, Sony, and Silicon Image. So yeah, another mobile interconnect standard just like DisplayPort, mini-HDMI, or Light Peak. Essentially, the micro-USB shaped MHL jack at the base of the Galaxy S II features internal circuitry that recognizes USB or MHL impedance and then automatically switches the phone into USB data / charging or MHL audio / video / charging modes. A special 5-wire micro-USB to HDMI cable lets you send video and audio to existing HDMI-equipped displays. Unfortunately, the TV won't charge the Galaxy S II during playback unless you insert a phone charger adapter between the GSII and TV or wait for MHL-enabled TVs to begin shipping later this year. Once connected, you can then use your TV's HDMI-CEC compatible remote to navigate and control the Galaxy S II's media interface. The GSII is just the first MHL device with a half-dozen phones, at least one tablet, and a few TVs coming this summer.

                        • Wondering what is the premium i am gonna pay over the original price if i order in E bay...

                          EDIT : thats actually 37 k. Btw, for warranty claims, the phone has to be sent to UK and i believe we have to pay the to and fro charges which doesnt sound much enticing. I will not have the satisfactions of fighting face to face with the service centre guys. LOL

                            The premium should be something on the lines of 5-7k. My suggestion.. don't go for this one.. wait for a month MAX and this monster will come to India with a Samsung India warranty.... And considering what I experienced at a Samsung authorized service center last week, you won't need to do the part in Bold. I strongly recommend you should not miss out on the very friendly attitude at Samsung Service by buying an import. (No Sarcasm was involved in writing this post).

                                OK.First things first. Let me pinch myself. Its very hard to find a company that is so customer focused or customer friendly. Its hard to belive for me even though I am in a service oriented company.

                                But this time my phone is dying and I want a capable phone to use it for say next 2~3 years without looking for an upgrade.
