May be you step in BOO's shoes and try to reply.

We'll know the pathetic service provided by Yamaha & Bajaj, yet aren't people buying from them? There're so much of bad reviews from Volkwagen India on Skoda, yet they sell in decent numbers. C'mon guys, enough of this, I hope Cramster learns from this mistake of theirs, if not, God alone save them.

        Sorry to reopen this

I don't have a choice other than to open up this thread.
Just wanted to ask our folks if this is a normal thing to happen; bought this somewhere around Feb 20 this year & started using from Feb 23 to be precise. I use it regularly for my everyday rides, summing up, I could've used it for about 4-5 months overall.
My question - Is this a normal wear & tear or should the gloves last longer?

Reason being that, I paid about 1.1K+shipping for this, if this is all it lasts, then I can probably settle for another quality brand that can last long.

The same happened to my Cramster TRG1 - Guess it was 2300 / 2500 Rs with Shipping. In fact mine got torn up around the thumb / palm within 2 rides.

Yes I got to see Ganesh's (Undefineme03) gloves as well, The glove had beautifully disintegrated into a webbing of the cheap materials which went into them. I think mine would be the next! Would cramster be kind enough to provide a answer for this or would it quote " Our QC guy was suffering from sorethroat that he decided to pass the low quality gloves."

From the older posts, I can really see some real Unprofessional Excuse from cramster. How would they feel if someone robbed their money in front of the cops, and the cop say "I'm really sorry, I'm suffering from a headache and cant help you."

My advice to all those who feel cheated or mistreated, Send a Registered post to the company with a complaint letter. Threaten legal action.

            Good Luck!

Yes TRG1 is more expensive; looks like I'm not the only person in boat. But you see, mine is being used only 4-5 months now & this is this state now. How about yours Ananth? Looks like I've to search for a better one now along with a jacket.

Not worth Raghav; if a product is bad, it will speak for itself, I can live with my loss of Rs 1100, but a word of caution in the community is sufficient.

My intention is just to know, if this is all what it lasts & does it take Rs 2200 for a year? If that's the case, then I can as well settle for A* which costs like a bomb but could last for several years right?

+1; its in a very bad state & if I were him, I would've bought a new one long back as I can't even stand to see the current state of my gloves.

This actually is bad..... I had bought Angels Racing gloves(now defunct) for 2.5K in 2006. Still works and is awesome! I have this Alpinestars SP-X Gloves : Black - Rs5,299.00 for long rides. And its awesome! Does not cost a bomb as well...

Not to vouch for any claim or product, but my DSG red gloves have lasted me close to 25,000kms now in NZ, Italy, Australia and most importantly India and they are still in great condition. Some people might have had bad experiences with DSG's glove quality too but I dont know too many of them.

                    +1

Even my DSG Motomesh Gloves (Rs 1250/- with outer kevlar on knuckles bought somewhere in march 2007, the normal ones cost Rs 850/-) that lasted for around 40000kms in the rains and sun, and after all this it had torn at the index finger and between the thumb and index finger. And also it helped my hands in one bad crash and couple of falls.

I was still using them, but due to my friend's ignorance..they got stolen.

From all your comments looks like they should've lasted long; oh!!! by the way to mention the number of Kms, it would've been for about hardly 8K (on higher side). Probably I'll stick with A* or DSG so that I can have armour, gloves & riding jacket all from one single brand rather than owning different brands.

Sorry about the OT, but can't help thinking; I was wondering what would be the alternative buy for saddle bags from Cramster? A* or DSG doesn't make one right?

I never had a bitter experience with Cramster, I ve bought saddle bags, tank bag, K2K, MX3 and knee guard. Every time I went there I had a nice experience.

And I felt knee guard is very very irritating. It doesn't stay on knees, it keeps sliding down. Any solution ?? Its not even 3months old and elastics are fine.

I thought only mine !! Mine is a year old gloves but I don't use it daily !! Have done about 10k kms with it. As mine had crossed 1 year I didn't bother to ask about it !!

Add me to the above list of DSG's satisfied customers.

I bought the DSG Revive Gloves for 1900 bucks directly from DSG Pune. I had tried them at Orion Motors and loved the fit and feel. The other option was cramster but a quick look at a few pairs helped me make the right decision. The 2 pairs of TRG gloves I saw had stitches coming off at the fingers and were almost tearing apart.

Glad I went ahead with my DSG purchase. My ninja was around the corner, Orion had no stock of the revive in my size, so I ordered directly from DSG. They delivered in 24 hours. Superb quality, excellent service and i highly recommened DSG. I've never ridden my ninja without the gloves. The odo on my bike now reads close to 4800 kms in less than 3 months... not a stitch coming off, not a tear, no complaints whatsoever on the DSG Revive.

I also bought my Motografix tankpad from DSG. Cost me 2250/- and t'was again delivered in 24 hrs as promised. The quality of their products is top notch and service excellent. Vivek from DSG has been very helpful and approachable whenever i needed help or clarifications.
ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!
