A few weeks before my ninja was delivered I went to the Cramster store and checked out their merchandise. I actually wanted to buy the Cramster MX3 gloves but the revive i tried on at Orion was miles ahead in terms of quality. While MX3 was 1100 bucks, revive cost me 1900. 800 bucks more but no regrets till date.

one of the members had the TRG2 gloves so I checked them out before I bought the revive. I saw 2 pairs and both had holes in the area between the fingers. And these were brand new gloves at the store.

No response from Cramster shows how much they care for customers (existing and prospective) and how much they value their products.

That Suresh is a pain to deal with sometimes.. have picked up quite a lot of stuff from Cramster, some for me and many more for my friends during my trips to Blore and back. Keerthi is the proprietor. Deal with him. I had some issues with him and Suresh before. Attitude was certainly an issue once during a conversation on the phone but once i went in person to settle the matter Keerthi was good enough to sort it out amicably. Anyway call up Keerthi next time and speak to him directly.

@Kwok - Keerthi or Suresh, are we dealing with people or with products? When there're competitors, why hansn't Cramster bothered to reply for these many days? May be because...
        1. They're not bothered on referals or customer retention
        2. They know cheap stuff sells
        3. They've their own circle & are happy with it

The only thing that i found worth buying from Cramster was the Balaclava for 200 bucks. [/QUOTE]

Rs. 200 for a Balaclava, I'd buy a bundle for that money, he he he.

I was on the lookout for Knee guards, tried Aplinestars bionic knee guards and loved the comfort it offered. But a price tag of 5k was forcing me to look for cheaper options. Quite a few suggested Cramster.

I wasnt satisfied with my riding jacket (Raptor) and hence was very skeptical but finally thought so many people cant be wrong.

So i went and bought a pair of Cramster Knee Guards on saturday evening along with tibby.

They looked very similar to the AXO knee guards which are sold in JC road minus the AXO logo on the top of the knee guard. The cramster velcro strips are of very good quality though.

I used them on our Sunday ride to Nandi hills and barely an hour since I started riding, one of the riders pointed to my knee guards.

One of the rivets on the knee guards had fallen off and the knee guard was not moving smoothly. So much for Cramster I thought. I was getting irritated by the thought of going back to Cramster and arguing with them.

So i went back to Cramster yesterday and Keerthi Jayasimha was there. I spoke to him and asked for a refund and he obliged much to my surprise. He seemed to be very cooperative.

The intention of this post is not to put down cramster yet again. I think Cramster has become more responsive to customers after the string of bad experiences faced by many. This may be a one off case but worth mentioning.

I am not harping on this cos i got a refund. I am posting this cos I got a refund when i didnt expect it. I was only hoping for a replacement but Mr. KJ went a step ahead in the interest of the customer. Thanks Keerthi.

                  Hi,
I too purchased Cramster knee guards a month back. When i opened the package, one of the metal rivets was out of it's socket.

I returned them back (on my own expense) and got back a new pair.
Of course, buying them thru ebay helped me out. (since they have proper customer grievance redressal mechanism).

Even I've had a similar experience. I bought quite some stuff from Cramster and agree that for the price, its good quality. They've even replaced damaged goods at no cost.

What pissed me of is KJ's attitude on solving the issues.

I was very happy with the K2K and Velocity, that was until it rained. And to my advantage, it rained the very evening I bought the Velocity pants. I was soaking wet and went down to their store to show the damage. Keerthi was there and he argued that

                      1. the definition of extreme rain (the website says extreme rain protection for both K2K Velocity) was subjective.
                      2. this was more the extreme rain.
                      3. and finally went on to say that they just market the stuff and its the manufacturer who makes up the specs! They just put the label on it and sell. This was the last nail.

Even after that, I told him that I'm ready to try out a new batch of merchandise and give it a chance. But he said that he'd rather give me a refund than try another batch.

I got the refund (minus the VAT, which I didn't crib about much) for K2K/Velocity and went straight to get the DSG Nero and A* from orion motors. Both of which I'm very satisfied with!
                      Cheers,

                      • This may be a late post, i was planning to go ahead with saddle bags and tanks bags from Cramster for my FZ.

But i guess after going through this thread.. NO to "Cramster" till they sort out training their staff how to behave and i am going to recommend the absolute "NO NO POLICY" to all my fellow riders in Mumbai as well. Just stating human error, broken hand and being busy with other clients is not an excuse to deal with these fellow riders rudely.

It is not about the money but customer experience. I believe we have enough competing brands like, Scoyco, DSG and other sites in the market who know how to treat their clients... Absolutely disappointed!!

Off Topic... but just to help, take a look at the RJays luggage. They have excellent quality luggage for bikes.

I have this and its an awesome bag. Expands to double its size. For my ride to Munnar today i have packed 2 jeans, 3 tee's, a pair of shorts, comprehensive first aid kit, chain lube, camera, spare visor, Maruti 800 body cover (which i use at home, just taking it along if i need it while its parked in the hotel) and more.

They also have saddle bags and tankbags.

Quite a big bag and sits securely on the rear seat.

contact Bachoo motors for more information. Zulfi is very pleasing to deal with. Highly recommended for customer focus and the products of course.

@shv - I strongly agree to above. If I were to buy anything from riding gears to accessories, I'd try Bachoo motors first followed by PRS.

they are cheap for a reason- they are not worth the money. i have the long cramster boot and they are abolutely crap.the inner liner is a joke and the rubber shifter pad doesnt last more than 2 months if you use it regularly.and they cannot be used in rain.and if u bring it to the notice of cramster people their standard reply is that this is the first such case they have come across and they will speak to the suppliers and if u want them to help with the repairs ,then sorry to inform you that they dont have the necessary expertise to repair them.
believe me whenever i look at the boot i cuss myself for not adding a few more thousands and buy myself a better boot.

from my experience if you are not a hardcore track and tourer biker i would suggest a 3/4th riding boot (Half riding boot).

                                my reasons:
                                1) dont go by the full length looks of cramster, their ankle support is almost negligible.and they dont provide shin support as well and to add to that full boots are a pain to walk around in.

                                2) dont take the boots in the rain cramster cannot handle rain, if it gets wet the whole innerline and the cardboard stuffing on the sole will come out.and cramster does no repair of these boots even though they have the branding.. wierd!!!!!!

                                3) i would always prefer to go for a half boot from a reputed company since the ankle support will be better, the boots will last longer and it will be easier to walk around in half boots which means i can use it every day and for tours as well. for the shin and knee use a knee and shin guard.

bachoo motors sells Rjays half boots for under 5k and a 100% waterproof boot for under 7k.you might want to have a look at them.
