^^^ No no, I got your point that you're just sharing your experiences with Cramster. DSG is what most of them are recommending here. I was skeptical about the price of DSG, especially on the gloves, but having been a victim now, I think DSG makes sense in longer run. Let me see compare A* in addition to DSG too. Very interesting thread...
My Cramsters (a lot of products) have been doing well for over 2 years now. I've had minor complaints, but nothing that has really bogged me down or irritated. Looking at some of the pictures, I'm just wondering if thinks have taken a slightly different perspective at Cramster. They are just thoughts anyways. I'm really happy that xBhp has provided a forum for Cramsters to know what fellow bikers are thinking. Whether or not they act accordingly, I'm sure all this effort will only get us better products for the future.
Thanks for sharing your feedback fellas!

Although I stick to DSG for my riding gear, my saddles are from Cramster. Am VERY satisfied with them. Actually, VERY is just an understatement. It has survived two LEH trips and umpteen local trips. Once, it fell down and was dragged fr a few 100 meters when the bottom tore up. I then stitched it with some leather though and it has held up really well... Maybe it has reduced in quality now, but I really do not know and cannot say.Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

There have been a few lucky fellows, this indicates the attention they give to QC In Cramster. Kudos to them.
When I'm riding, I prefer to be calm and relaxed rather than having the thought of my luggage/gear disintegrate & fly around.
I'd really love to say something here, but would be mistaken for a dealer/salesman in disguise !

I have a feeling their QC is a bit off when it comes to items that are shipped through courier as opposed to stuff which are bought in person.
I went to their store to get my Breezer 3.0 (back then it was 4.8k), no problems *yet* and I am loving the fit in this model. I have clocked about 700ks with the jacket. The only problem I see is that the zippers for the inner lining is a tad flimsy which was the same with one of the DSGs as well.
Still early days, but lets see how long my happy times with this jacket lasts
Can you share the link? I want to buy these gloves as well. And as Raghav says, all the cramster gloves I have laid my eyes on so far has been horrible. Holes all the way.Originally posted by n_aditya View Post@ aargee: Go with DSG my friend. They wont disappoint you.
And my feedback on the revive has been posted from my personal experience rather than just hearsay.

I zeroed on these three, but I had to eliminate primal and nitro.Originally posted by felix.ragav View Postgo with nitro/primal/revive. Im just waiting for these crappy cramsters to die, from then on its DSG baby!
Primal looks awesome but from what I read, it seems to give off colour from the inside.Baby Tourer

Well i have nothing to complain on the gloves actually except that the fingers area is slightly longer (a very wee bit) but i guess it makes up when you press the front brake / clutch lever.Originally posted by Zaphod View PostOops. I phrased the question incorrectly.
. I meant your review about the gloves
Other than that the DSG Revive gloves are awesome. Not a stitch coming apart, not a tear, no issues whatsoever (touchwood) in over 3 months and over 5000 kms of riding. The gloves are not rain proof but your hands dont become black when wet (no running of color).
The leather quality is very good too. There is leather on the palm area and the back of your hand which offers good protection against abrasion. Also there are air vents on the gloves and you can feel air flowing in thru these vents. There are kevlar/CF protection elements on the knuckles and the fingers. These gloves are full leather construction.
Highly recommended. Worth the money and it cost me 1900 bucks only. Hope this helps.
However here is my review on the crapster raptor jacket which cost me an insane 5.2k.
The elbow armor in my raptor jacket moves around a lot and is very loose at the sleeve even with the sleeve button at the tightest fit. I am not feeling safe at all with this jacket. Moreover the jacket is supposed to offer protection against extreme rain, wind and snow but a ride in pouring rain yesterday on the way back from Mekedatu proved otherwise. My tee was soaked and till yesterday i blamed cramster only for faulty stitching and pathetic quality armor. Now even the last bit of protection against the said elements has proved otherwise.
When i fold my arm, the elbow armor moves up and only the flat end of the armor covers my elbow. I can even move the armor all the way away so that my elbow is exposed totally. Imagine what would happen in a fall. Moreover i tried different sizes and this was the best fit. Too bad i was not aware of the other brands in the market.
So much for 5200 bucks.
The only thing that i found worth buying from Cramster was the Balaclava for 200 bucks.

Crappy Cramster
One more post to prove where exactly cramster is. Its not to debrand cramster, but to aware fellow riders.
Got this TRG-2 gloves on Saturday (25/09/2010) Was aware of this thread and carefully checking for the defects, even then i missed this defect. I saw this only after i came home. Atleast I am lucky to see notice this before i start using it
.
Now come the question , Is cramster a trustworthy brand?
I think this exclusive thread is the answer for cramster's quality.

@ Sakthi & Q.C affected guys that includes me, for those who haven't know, i have a Yellow "Pulse" that has started showing up stitching defects now and it's just 6 months old and have been used only for 2 G2G's. There is no point at all in we cribbing about Cramster as there is no responsible reply from the "Horse's Mouth", rather switch over to another alternatives that are better and have better customer service overall. I was also a guy who had bought one Turtle tank bag recently & recommended two of my friends to get "Pulse". Thank God, i'm not in tough with them. Wondering wat's their scene on their jackets though!
Seeing all this, will i ever enter the store again?
