My engine guard were carrying my bike electrical wires and HAD to keep my main stand for emergency purposes and had thought that would remove it on the strip but then forgot.Originally posted by Ghost11 View PostSaw your bike's pic as well but may i add, before doing all what you said above you might want to remove those so called crash guards and the center stand.

Also Joel, consider as my formal request, What all can I do next on my bike?Ripping the streets of Bombay on my P250 M

^Just strip the bike to bare bones and also use ultra thin tyres. Should save u well over 0.5 secs. When I say strip, strip everything except the engine, frame and the wheels. Use thin spoked wheels etc. All this wont make it streetable through.sigpic

^^Joel, dont worry about lightening the bike, because I am already sourcing parts for next time, new spoke rims with drum brakes + real thin tyres. The lightening part is taken care of, but I want MORE power, so will you be doing anything more to increase the power?Ripping the streets of Bombay on my P250 M

Abhay Dude, I salute your passion. I would like to race with you when I am in Mumbai. But i dont like to strip my bike, i like to keep it street useable. i would have loved to keep it a silent scorcher, but the FFE gives away the plot.
Joel has cast some of his magic on my 220 as well, and i can say nothing comes close to my bike.

My bike isnt always naked, will be doing a photoshoot tomorrow and the bike will be back to LOOKING stock. Also let the sound settle in and once it has and when you ride below 3k rpm or so, it WILL sound very similar to the stock bullet and will be barely audible. It is either that or I have gotten so use to the sound that I dont come to know the difference
Also I am waiting for Joel's reply for more performance mods, hope he plans a few.Ripping the streets of Bombay on my P250 M

My P220 M is now again handling like a king. Installed Pirelli Sport Demons, front and back.
Front - 110/70 and Rear 140/70
Reason for 140/70 instead of the popular 130/70 is because I have used 130/70 and its great, but it has one problem. The Tire Circumference % Difference between stock(120/80) and 130/70 was -1.60 leading to a lower top speed, where as with the 140, the Tire Circumference % Difference is only 0.64. So a minute increase in top speed. But for people who think that the tyre is too fat, its not, my bike has more than enough power.

The bike is almost ready, took a few days, will take a few more, as I need a good fabricator and the one I trust is at his native place, will be back by 10th, so its going to stay like this for a few days.
Here are the few pics, will click better ones on sunday, in action
