do you plan to remove your filter if it rains??
or have you come up with something to cover it ??

also if i read right you said "I Hate Em.." somewhere(FB)..
so would you enlighten us for why you opted for a filter now?
considering you had your ride pimped out from such a long time...

also some advantages of putting it on the carb rather than stock box??
            price??
            fuel efficiency??
any difference in ride quality after filter??
change in sound of your freeflow??

I'll take your queries in order.
1 - I have come up with something, wait for a few days, you will see.
2 - I hate them for performance increase. I have gotten it just and just for the ease of not cleaning them so often. I need to clean my stock filter every 500 kms, now expect not to clean atleast 2-3k kms, if not more.
3 - It really doesnt matter where you put it. If you really want a marginal increase in power, then put it directly onto the carb and then up jet, if you wanna play safe and keep it in the box.
4 - I have installed it just this weekend, so haven't calculated FE yet. But I'm telling you, if you dont change the way you ride, your FE wont decrease.
5 - What difference do you expect? The bike doesnt feel laggy, its peppy, much more than stock.
6 - Yes, it has changed the sound, much much more. Let your exhaust come and we will all meet and you can listen to it.

I have aquery too.. Is it any different than K&N. What is the cost?

well you didnt tell me how are you gonna deal with rain problem??

whats the difference between K&N and Green cotton?
and why did you opt for green cotton?

also is that a bike(220) specific model or universal?

                  anymore aftermarket filter options available??
                  except for yours n kajus...

The rain solution I will show in a few days.
Green cotton is arguably better than K&N and pipercross.
This is a 150cc air filter. Mr. Kaju has the same size and he suggested this size.
Here are the list for the filters I know.
                    1. BMC
                    2. Green Cotton
                    3. Pipercross
                    4. K&N
                    5. Uni(don't know much about this one)

I have arranged the list according to my ratings.

                      • I change my bikes oil every 5-7k Kms and always use Full Synth oil.
Once I have.filled 1.2L, in the period of 5-7k Kms, a 100 ml mostly goes in.

                          • ^^ Don't compare his beast to any other, The 15 is a high-revving machine, whereas the 220 has torque power, the R15 has better power-weight ratio and handling, so you be the judge
The only thing standing in your way, the ONLY thing you can count on, at any given time.. Is YOU

The 220 has only Lev 1 Mods available from Joel. So a lev 1 Modded R15 would be slower than the 220, but a Lev 2 R15 would be something different. Untill Joel builds a fully done up 220 we really cant compare.

                              • Shifted from Green Cotton to Cosworth. Runs much better and is completely OILLESS, i.e. No oil to be put on the air filter.

I have put the filter inside the box for the rains. Cut the box and then put screws so I can open and close as I please.
