The best mod is to exchange it for some rides like fz or r15, i think...

Race concepts have taken performance biking to a great level with there mods, so i don't see why they
can't manufacture kits for non-geared scooters
There are huge numbers of Activa/Dio/Aviator on roads, and it would be a good option for people who don't want to
upgrade and stick to their respective vehicles without affecting the reliability with the mods if Joel provides for non gears

I have RTR 180, don't want any other bike for rides in exchange of my activa and would keep my bike stock for now

the problem with modding scooters is reliability, you could make a activa do 120kmph faster than an r15 but the problem is that you would still be running stick drum brakes and scooter tyres are not the best for grip. Heck!! scooters arent stable in corners even at speeds of 60!!!

Well said. Although you can add some disc brakes to the scooters, their stability will be in serious question thanks to the puny tyres.

i do agree with with Krish1417
i used to have a dio , and was riding it from past 3-4 yrs , ive got 116cc setup with custom made head and revised air flow and tuned length exhaust( done by a specially trained honda senior mechanic who came out of the company and works out now ),
goes upto 110 on the speedo but i felt stable at that speeds and i do cornering at speeds of 60 with ease but im new to geared bikes and doing cornering in that speed of 60 is a night mare as im learning geared bike now on duke
                ,
but my setup was reliable too but i got fed up of its power cuz i was too greedy for more power so upgraded to DUKE now
                .
if joel is ready to touch dio/activa
im ready to buy a new dio and get it joel'ed without any doubt
because i love gear-less more than geared ones and its easy to maneuver a gear-less in traffic
im not saying we cant flick through traffic on geared ones but i feel gear-less are zippy and their initial power is enough in traffics
                .

but at those speeds braking wil be issue if it goes above 100 km/hr as they are not designed to go in high speeds and even upgrading to disc's wont give sufficient braking on these gear-less ones

                • ^^^ Can we rest this new discussion to peace?

It doesn't look exciting enough. Scooter are made from commuting from point A to point B. Shall we leave them to do what they do best?

                    • Forged pistons for Fz bb kit

                      Hi Joel,

I was wondering if it's possible to procure forged pistons for the FZ-16 (err.. 18).

As you are aware, I m running my bike with the BB kit. Just wanted to know if the forged ones can be used and if you are having any. Would be super good to get them installed by you

                      Thanks !
