Full Ride report - WIll be posted by the owner himself - kushanth.
My ride report -
I had a brief session with the bike and it was my first spin on the bike after we had built the exhaust, the engine and retuned the suspension.
I had my math spot on, with a bike that was never tested or experimented. There was no trial or error at building the engine, the exhaust or tweeking the suspension. It had to be right and it was!
The CBR250R has a character which is more in focus of the low-mid revs, and there is a steep fall after 8000rpm. The top revs dont feel enthusiastic. With our tweeked CBR, that was fixed to a great extent (with a 500rpm shift in power peak), yet the stock exhaust does not seem to flow any better after 9000rpm. So the top-revs had to be fixed and I wanted to give it the real character it deserved. The exhaust design, is a painful multi-stage system with varying dimensions purely simulated to offer the best exhaust stream efficiency. With emphasize on retaining most of the bottom end torque, and a really meaty mid and top end power. The bike is now at its best balance, with the new exhaust system. With over a massive 15% bump atleast, it wants to hit the limiter effortlessly, all the way till 5th gear! 100kph comes-up in a flash (v-box figs will be out soon) and the power delivery is wild. Something that you can never imagine of a stock CBR which is lazy at its very best.
A quick comparison with a Ninja 250, showed us the clear winner. The CBR was well ahead and flauting its rear to the Ninja, quite proudly
Dyno report, coming soon!
The suspension department is now well addressed and our tweeks have worked brilliant. The front damping has been retweeked, with revised pre-loading, revalving and ride height change. The rear is now harder by 3 clicks and revalving, which is working brilliant. Our CBR no longer feels like a boat. Its as good as the R15, which now makes our CBR, an absolute blast in street and for trackday exploits.
Pics, coming soon.sigpic

Ever since I first read your comments about CBR, that it is a speed-boat and all that, I thought to myself that it's a great bike wasted by Honda.Originally posted by Joel View PostOur CBR no longer feels like a boat. Now, it makes a whole lot of sense to buy the CBR, joel it, kill more expensive birds on the tracks, and head home in comfort. You have made CBR what it should have been from Day 1. Congrats to you on that!
Also, about the bold, one more time please, is the CBR really as good as the R15 now?If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

The CBR250R is a great package. The best value for money quarter litre bike to be sold anywhere. With our refinements, the CBR has now been transformed.
The R15 is in a league of its own in its segment. They cannot be compared in the engine department, but handling wise, a stock R15 still holds the candle. However our CBR now matches the R15's ability around corners and under braking.sigpic
