Re: The POWERHOUSE Fz18
I am sure there are many more who have bought these kits and other so called Power parts from the Parts Supplier in question here, I personally know a few and they have also had the same fate, some even on multiple kits but still not everyone is coming out and speaking.
I guess this is Indian nature, to go out there and to achieve your dreams in our culture is good but if you fail its considered a shame. Its this shame factor that certain people prey on, its this main reason why so many Ponzi schemes are so successful in India, by the time people people realize they are being duped its too late for them to accept it publicly.
I only hope that more people come forward and talk about their experiences Good or Bad and throw some more light on this topic. It will be helpful for the Noobs and enthusiasts.
I guess @Joel has lost that Demi-God status that he had and people used to blindly follow him, his tone has surely changed from than and now. Its now high time he takes up some responsibilityLast edited by mansuryayas; 02-14-2014, 12:42 PM.

Re: The POWERHOUSE Fz18
Running on RC Kits for the past 6K Kms which include Big Bore ,Cam,Spring,Exhaust.
Had oil consumption issue after 2k kms of running in later found it to be a fault with valve stem seals , Replaced valve stem seals and the bike running fine.
Had to replace the starter clutch today ( Odo reading 41356 kms the cam might have accelerated the wear ! )
Still Its too early to comment on the reliability part also had to adjust the tappets today ( every 4K km if it goes the same way )COLOUR ME CARZY CUSTOMS

Removal of decompression unit caused your starter clutch to go busted.. And you got to replace again and again and even the starter motor may burn out soon without decompression unit..Originally posted by Vizack View PostRunning on RC Kits for the past 6K Kms which include Big Bore ,Cam,Spring,Exhaust.

Uve seen my bike Prince!Originally posted by princesirohi View Postis there a successful long term ride report of joelled bike, say a ride report of 30,000+ kms .. ??
I did 20k with his setup, always had to carry a bottle of engine oil for topping up.
Now I am on Motozones setup and the oil vanishing has stopped. Done some 9k kms till date and very muchbhappy with the bike, no tall claims by them but the bike feels way too easy and smooth going. Top end has increased by a huge margin as compared to Joels setup, did 148 with all the luggage and me weighing 85kgs, not bad at all, and the proof are some fellow Xbhpians from the Daman GTG.
Btw hows ur S doing? Planning something on it as well??

Why was the oil disappearing? Bore fault?Originally posted by Akki4134 View PostUve seen my bike Prince!

Re: The POWERHOUSE Fz18
The first bore which Joel had sent was used on some other bike, there was oil packages on the bore and used oil with load of muck stick to it.Originally posted by dannyR15 View PostWhy was the oil disappearing? Bore fault?

It was very much visible to everyone whobsaw that the BB was used, next after sending the bsore back to him, it took him 6 months to send me a new one.
God knows what was he upto. Never ever hoing to deal with that guy again.
The second bore I got was brand new, installed it and it was very smooth and good till 1000kms, bike after that started getting rough and oil used to vanish every 500kms, 300ml for every 500kms, went to mumbai for a trip and got it checked at Zubins garage and came to know the bore was not polished properly and was done in a very crude and raw way.
So hadto live with that for another 5k kms till the time I got Motozones BB installed. Done 9k in 3 months and the bike is flying.
While this whole thingbwas going on I kept on asking Joel for a reply to my prob and he never used to reply or pick up my calls.

Re: The POWERHOUSE Fz18
I have got my friend's FZ engine modified by Venu Sir (The man behind twin cylinder fiero). I had specified that I am looking towards reliability of the engine and it will be used for city riding and not for track. I am not a technical person so I cannot explain in detail what all was done. All I can say is Piston was changed and some head work was done. Fitted it with BMC Airfilter with jetting and CDI Ignition. Exhaust is stock as of now. Have ordered for a after market exhaust (Calculated One). The bike has more torque now. As per Venu Sir there will be a marginal increase of 1bhp. There is no improvement in top end but it reaches quick.
I need to know what is the stock BHP of FZ at wheel when dynoed ? I will be getting it dynoed. So need to know what is the stock BHP of FZ at wheel and even NMZIP ZAP ZOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!

Like this just for Venu Sir...He helped me a lot while I was in Bangalore. After I got the Big Bore from Joel for my 220, I rode straight to him, and he said it was quite good. he helped me sort out lots of issues related to chain sprocket and spark plugs.
Bangalore is the place to be in with such fantastic people around....
