But the good thing is, Ninja will get some respite for a few days on this forum, while we get ballistic over the Honda !!!

And regarding the specs .... its 26.5 bhp, 27 Nm single cylinder air cooled engine. Front disk, rear drum as u can see!!
110 front and 140 rear tubeless tyres. Basic shocks up front with monoshock rear.

it will be great if they do it .. coz launching bike with 1 or 2 ps more is very demoralizing . this bike is twice as powerful as unicorn . A good naked bike finally .. i hope it is not too much plastic!!

And to make it non-OT from OT :

Anyone else here thinks a high torque, smooth engine like ZMA and P220 will serve much better in a cruiser mould !! I mean an Avenger 220. Much better than the streetbike engine of 200 wich just cant disguise itself its revvy nature !!

I mean, we know there is a market for cruisers in India (Royal Enfield has shown that )
And, cruiser fan are generally not that demanding for regular updates and BHP bumps. Give them a good enuff product and they'll keep buying it for years !! (Again Royal Enfield has shown that !!)

well the fact is cruiser fans dont have quality options to choose from ,,,,
its quite sad that yamaha didnt launch a quality cruiser with the 15 and the fz
but err,,,, how can we expect a foreign co to launch something when our own co launches first in abroad
our own people do this to us,,,,,,,
infact RE has some quality chassis that are sold abroad
the question is why not here???????

i have found this a general trend of somehow companies letting out info bout their new launches on websites and mags..... n some people claim them to be spy pics........ now come on.... an automotive co does not know how to keep a secret .........
i think this is all strategy ........

mr bajaj also tried the same thing openly........ he announced bout the ninja ........... i think just to see the response,,,,,,, otherwise give some lame excuses if they arent satisfied,,,,,,,,,,,

even yamaha doled this out........ an imported FZ is sent to INDIA for making a model to suit our needs here........
a parcel from other country can reach here very silent n secret.......
this are all companies strategies to create a hype much before the launch is done

now scenario is such if bajaj finally make an official launch bout ninja,,,,
suddenly we will start hearing rumours or facts the HONDA OR YAMAHA are also gonna launch their things..... and people decide to wait for them n may be ninja faces stiff competition or may be outweighed .......
this is the problem here....... someone trying hard to get somethng here.... mr bajaj..... and then he ll find that his bikes are suddenly facing stiff competition and the perspective owner of the ninjas are waiting some other thing,,,,,,, this wud be really discouraging for him and even might result a loss for his co,,,,, ofcourse not including people who lack patience and jump onto ninja saying " we have waited a lot already !".......

so according to me.... its just someone to take a step...... then all would follow ......... and if honda were to launch something...... they would also follow the same publicity procedure which is very much common here thru blogs n mags

The pics from MG looks good, infact a friend who works with Honda has promised me a pic of a bike that they are working on for India.... (No Not a joke this time) which is based on the CBF....

Now may be this is it!, but sadly all he says now is that expect
1) an upped version of Unicorn..
2) an 200CC bike (Dont know my eyes are playing tricks or what, but I think MGs Pic reads CBF200 and not CB300R..... )

(actually they dont, but just wanted to live upto the threads title)

And to bust your hopes, (No they arent joke), Expect them only in the Q3
