Honda is cooking something...

If at all, in response to something (guess what) and not to give the best to bikers. Have our riding habits, road infrastructure, or buying capacity have imporved in the recent past?

Otherwise you would see a Part Green Part Pink-assed with 17.59 PS with hyper electronic-fuel injection fly-by-light control 128 kmph 41 kmpl capable ZMA in 2109 AD (by the time I will be no more to verify ).

@modifii: It wasn't 140, it was reported in Bike India mag that Honda is testing the 120section rear tyre with MRF for their new 150cc.

Honda is very good at keeping secrets about any of their future launches. If my knowledge serves me right, nowhere we had any spy pic or something of Unicorn / Stunner before they were launched. We only saw them after they were launched!!! Infact, Stunner FI's pics were only available after it was launched! I guess that due to bajaj who has the habit of announcing its future products well in advance, people are now expecting to see spy pic of a future vehicle from every manufacturer, and may be that's why it is harder to believe that HOnda is working on a new 150cc due to the lack of a spy pic!

Whereas 100cc from Honda is concerned, I guess its their strategy to announce about it well in advance as it is not going to be their premium offering whereas a new 150cc or higher capacity bike would be, so it will remain a secret until Honda itself decides to disclose information about it. Personally, I am quite positive that Honda will soon come out with atleast a new 150cc bike soon!

stunner fi's pics were seen only after launch but all there were many rumours existing about honda launchin a 125 and a 100 cc

Partly true but wrong on other counts. Firstly Honda does not have "spy pictures" because they are just NOT WORTH IT! All they could give us is a 125cc FI. How many of us are interested in yet another 14 bhp 150cc. They can keep their secrets. For all I care.

And you say that no one knew about the Honda Stunner! Wrong on that count too. I suppose you remember Auto Expo 2008? Or was it too long back for you? Maybe I can search somewhere on my HD to show it to you what the Stunner looked like while it was still a concept! Some secret.

@Ken I think upgrading is sometime a difficult choice(just joking) ......

I upgraded from a P180 Classic to a P220! Wasn't too tough for me. And I am sitting pretty on it. Ninja is speculation for the moment.

Hey Guys i got some Good news from my Source at the Hero Honda factory . the most awaited bike in Indian history The KARIZMA Upgrade is ready .
he says it got
one projector light
Semi-faired
Led Backlight
Digi-speedo
It will have air-cooled 250cc engine with Fi and Over 21Hp at least
It will be torquey with City Riding in mind and will have power at low rpms
Price will be Under 1 lakh showroom to counter r15 mania
cureently they are working on its Final looks and cost cutting measures to make it into production . It may nor may not be called a Zma .

He also said that Zma will get some Changes to Make it Cheaper and it will be priced 2-4k less than current model

To start off some more pictures of CB300R

And regarding the specs .... its 26.5 bhp, 27 Nm single cylinder air cooled engine. Front disk, rear drum as u can see!!
110 front and 140 rear tubeless tyres. Basic shocks up front with monoshock rear.

Add DOHC,PGM-Fi,4-valve,Oil is cooled.

Coming on to the bike.It shares a lot of parts with the Indian HH bikes.The front disk(276mm) is from Karizma, the rear brake lever is of Hunk,clutch & brake levers are from Karizma, footpegs are of Karizma, the petrol filler cap is of Passion, the rear swingarm looks like that of Karizma(I might be wrong here),one of the side panels looks similar to Stunner.

Now why am I saying all these things?Because this bike can be easily manufactured in India. There no supertech like multicylinder & all.Let's make a realistic guess of the price if the bike is manufactured in India.

Karizma costs 81K on road in Pune.Add 30K for 75cc,more power & torque,softer compound tyres. Now add another 30K for Fi,DOHC,4-valve & oil cooled.So the price stands at 1.41lakh.Add 14K more for the premium that Honda would like to charge from the customer.So this bike can be easily cost 1.55lakh on road Pune.

Honda will definitely come with a bigger cc bike.Call it their flagship model as they don't have one.And this model looks apt in every possible way.

Btw this costs 11,900 R$ in Brazil which is equivalent to 2.55lakh INR but nothing to worry as a 150cc costs close 1.50lakh INR. Also Honda is expecting to sell 50,000 units of CB300R in the coming 6 months in Brazil.
