Your eyes, head, brains, mind, heart, senses, sensibility are all playing tricks on you! You saw 200 written there!!!Originally posted by satyenpoojary View Post2) an 200CC bike (Dont know my eyes are playing tricks or what, but I think MGs Pic reads CBF200 and not CB300R..... )
And you do not have such clean surroundings and roads anywhere in India.Originally posted by sukant08 View Post
And as Ken said, MG's pics are not clicked in India !! The guys riding on the right side of te road !!The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

and meanwhile MG is conspicuously slient !!
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

Any new launch here will have to consider the impending BS-III (close to Euro-III) standard w.e.f. April 2010.
The current ZMA engine does not sell in any form in UK (A Euro III market from 2008).
It sells only in CRF 230L avtaar in US which meets local CARB standard (inferior to Euro-III) whereas CRF 230F is restricted for close circuit dirt use only.
Our ZMA already have a cat-con to clear BS-II mark. Stunner is also BS-II mark compliant whereas Stunner PGMFI is BS-III compliant. The writing is clear on the wall. The Original CBZ

Today's Vijaya Karnataka, a Kannada newspaper has a news item about Honda launching a 100cc bike by end of 2009. Lets party
CEO Shinji Voyama has also said that the production of 350cc and 500cc bikes are in progress. What does he mean? No idea

I would say since a new P220 or maybe the mythical long-in-the-works P300 are about to bear the fruits in the near future, MNCs are tightening their socks and skirts after a very loooong decade old study of the Indian market for premium bikes
For me, I would buy a new bike only if it has 250 cc+ 25 PS + 6-speed. Otherwise I would continue with my decade old steed. Hell
to manufacturers - all desis as well as videsis.

He was also quoted saying something regarding 350cc and 500cc bikes production being in progress. It was a rathercryptic quote. Hope its meant for our market.

I remember few months back sombody confirmed that a 140 section MRF tyre is being tested by Honda India. (CB300R has 140 tyre at rear)
Few weeks back somebody claimed that huge number of Hornet parts are being imported in containers by Honda India.
Honda is cooking something...sigpic
