Its a lot more than mere jetting and a filter.
BTW, I dont run a filter now.
Anyways, this is what I can expect of a forum which is filled with all the GP Blairs and Bells. What I have done is just baby stuff!
Seriously, I couldn't imagine. I was just asking what I should be doing for a start. I also know that the original carb has been replaced, but that would be a lot more advanced stuff from where I stand. Anyways, thanks for the reply.

Was this the last run? I didnt launch the bike, just did a rolling start. Guess it was the fastest run. Exit speed was some 125 odd in about 350mtrs, with the engine still knocking at high revs.

@maverick46 - Quite frankly I dont remember even seeing you, wonder where u get all the details from
My RTR Group D does not need any limelight coz its not even close to my Fiero. The last time I was running wrong jetting. It was running the same jetting as from chennai.

You don't remember me as i was a bystander at that speedrun with a innocous, misfiring grey Unicorn . With all the action happening around you, i didn't get any time to introduce myself

There's always the next speedrun for that !

              Thanks man

The Fiero is getting a few tweeks again. Will install the engine over the weekend and then check for results. I'm now getting succesful at arresting the engine knocks almost completely and just leave the engine on the edge of pinging. Things will sure look good then

                Fiero F2

I've Got Fiero F2 2004 Model........Once Upon a time I did Most Of the External modification on my Fiero...i've put 170 size of tyre at rear.... ...Seperatez 2 picz sits, engine cover and many many more...AT the End my bikes pickup goes 100cc bike with top Speed 60km/hr.....
Then i decide to increase interal power modification on MY Fiero F2....i've bore my Enigne With 200cc piston with Gear shifting...Now i've already install NGK Irridium Spark plug and K&N Air Filter But not yet done any up jetting My carb that'z why it'z not giving right power ... my Fiero F2 Hit 125-130 Km/hr Speed as it top true Speed but my SpeedoMeter Showz 135-138km/hr .... i'm bit confused if i've done something more power modification then what will happen to my Stock Speedo meter.... Top Range is only 140 in Meter do it will break the Speedo meter'z Needle or Damage the Meter...hehe

NOw i'm Running my Fiero With The 15 Teeths at Front and 48 at Rear teeths as Chain Drive spoket... do any body give me some more idea about number of Spoket teeths and its power Drives...

                  Updates.
I have reworked on the cylinder head further. The ports have been further reprofiled and the intake is now tuned for more high end flow. The intake tract now has a tuned length for more optimal flow.
Need to install my new O2 sensor and an AFR meter.
I should be getting a new ignition module which will a fully programmable engine management system. Nothing like it if I can get it in a week to test the results.
Will also be adding a few flast slide Keihin carb soon with completely revised jetting.
I will need to install the engine, and then try the new goodies. Havent found time to assemble the engine in the last 2 weeks.
I'm hoping to have a speedcheck next week. Soon, I'll have my own bushnell speedgun, so its gonna be more fun

Yo man Joel kudos to you! You are THE MAN! I love the fiero engine (as my RTR is based on that too!) and its amazing what all you have managed to extract from it and continue to!

Anyways why don't you start a new thread on your RTR too? I would love to know what all has been done to it and a few pics too. Hope you post it up soon.

I thought the A150 and all RTR s dont share the engine block with the Fiero

The apache/RTR is nothing but a reworked Fiero engine.
My Fiero now has an RTR spec engine, so there is nothing fiero about it anymore.
I have the 5-speed bottom engine, so its basically classified as an RTR engine. However I have an altered bore/stroke which will demain disclosed only to me

@Maverick - I'll break your head if you ask me too many things about my Fiero LOL
I'll have the AFR guage and the O2 installed in a few days.
speedcheck, Sunday maybe. Dont want a crowd, will call a chosen few only. .
