May be the manufacturers gain the insider-information much earlier and so is the delay.But if this thing goes on then it will take an eternity till a 'proper' bike gets launched!!

Scooty streak's new anti skid(tubeless) tyres is doing wonders on it.. I own one.. It doesn't skid in wet at any condition.. Done 750 Kms in rainy situation so far.. I hope the new RTR 180 tubeless tyres will be like that..Comment

The TVS Apache 180 adorns a new graphic scheme to distinguish itself from its smaller siblings, with RTR emblazoned boldly on the tank scoops.
The front forks and the gas reservoirs for the rear shocks are now painted in a new golden shade and the clip-ons have a new RTR 180 emblem at the centre.
Naked pegs for racers, rubber covered ones for commuters

The new RTR 180's wheelbase is 1326mm..(Source:Overdrive). They have experimented with wheelbase from 1280mm to 1350mm with 10mm increase and find 1326mm is optimal wheelbase for both straight line stability and flickability.. The RTR180 is still as flickable as 160 with 26mm increase in wheelbase.. The bike's length in now 2085mm.. For RTR it is 2020mm..Comment

The earlier scootys also had the antiskid and puncture resistant tyres.As the Streak's tyres are lil bit wider, it provides better stability!!
