From the looks of the performance figures and engine aggression, its a good 20% odd more power over stock. The dyno chart will give the exact story.
I have the next set of mods in the pipeline.
Target is to keep it streetable and yet get race levels of performance.
I have sourced a new cylinder head from yamaha. Will start my big-valve and other radical works on it. Also will be grinding a custom race profile camshaft. Again it has to have stock levels of reliability, my prime objective.
A stock R15 is 16bhp, so this is approx around the 19-20 range now.

Great work Joel... Been a silent spectator of both your R15 and Fiero threads... For me the work that you do is just mind boggling... Hope to see your work in person sometime...

                          A small clarification.
Porting on 4-strokes is to facilitate the gas flow into the cylinder head. Unlike a 2-stroke where a port decides the time and flow area and causes the most radical change to the powerband.
In a 4-stroke engine, timing is controlled by the camshaft profile and then an exhaust, ignition and cylinder head mods complement the set-up.

Most of us here have the 2-stroke belief that a port-job on my engine has made most of the difference. It just one part of the equation.

Now that does not mean that a 4-stroke cylinder port has not much importance. Its a very deep subject to discuss. A well modified port can do wonders to the overall performance. Thats precisely the reason why engineers spend most of their time moulding and designing ports for high performance engines, say F1 for that matter.

The stock exhaust is 5.2 Kgs, right? How much would ur free-flow weigh(just an approximate guess)?

Any changes to the mounting now or is the end-can still loose like it was earlier?
