Tiger dude, the CDI will be more reliable than the OEM unit, only thing is that it should be installed correctly, by that i dont mean that the installation is difficult, its a simple plug and play as far as I know, rash could fill in the details. About warranty I'm pretty sure it comes with a year long warranty for manufacturing defects. And YES, it is the Digital CDI made by RDDreams.

let me clear a few things
the price for the pulsar 180/150 Digital Upgrade CDI is 2400/- plus shipping ...so if you can get more members you can save on the shipping cost
for banglore members they can get it installed in banglore itself

As far as results are concerned...dont expect 10 bhp increase or anything like that....more like a classic will run better than the DTSi ....
this is what i can say about improvements...
you will definetly have a better top end and midrange...lil bit of rejetting might be required ...but it every penny worth it.

I dont make this kits ..they are made by Ron Chinoy of RDDreams..

I am merely trying to promote it cos its a great product...

someone needs more clarifications call me at
                09422009852...i am in pune..

well i am getting my babe back on monday (hopefuly) after geting the piston kit changed so once the runin is over i would luv to go 4 it and 2400 4 a cdi not a bad deal even if its not reprogrammable 1 rash i am thinking its a plug n play thing rite? or do u need to modify the ignition coil and stuff like that?

actually it is very simple to install....you dont even need to take it to a mechanic...if you know how to use a spanner and a screwdriver....you can do it yourself....

can a performance of dtsi cdi installed pulsar classic be better than a pulsar dtsi cause of the absence of a rev limiter in a classic pulsar??

Ok ppl listen up and dont ask same questions over and over again.
This kit will make a difference only on the classic Pulsar.
1>The Digital Rddreams CDI will have rev limiter as per your requirement or if you dont need one it would be made without a revlimiter.
2>Dont expect all out boost in power, all that it will do is make the engine much more smoother and much better revving.
3>As far as I know it will have 2 ignition timing ka curves one for mileage/cruising and other for Acceleration, you can switch between curves using switch mounted on handlebar or you could use the carb mounted switch used in DTSI Pulsars, this would change your timing curve depending upon throttle position.
4>Since it will have a seperate timing curve for mileage, you will get much better fuel economy than the stock CDI unit.

The guy who manages the manufacturing of these kits doesnt make a a lot of units and will soon stop selling in India as he already has a steady overseas sale of CDI kits for RDs, but if several members on this forum want to buy in bulk he would continue production.
