Anyone selling one of these pieces still, I want one man. Where can i get it from ? I even contacted Ron Chinoy of RDDREAMS, but he said that they had stopped manufacturing these due to lack of demand. Anyone has a spare piece or is selling a used one, i would be interested. You can call me at +91 98451 23554. If we have good numbers may be we could contact RDDREAMS for it.

The CDI's are not available now in the market, they were available earlier. I believe they were really good, but since the numbers were not there, they were discontinued. I believe if we manage to get decent numbers, we can get RD to consider the proposal.

CDI for a pulsar? makes no sense.
What are u trying to get in terms of performance?
Understand that that engine cant rev beyond 11000rpm. Anything beyond, you'll loose the valve train.
Also its a very unenthusisastic engine for performance mods. Does not respond well. You rather put all those efforts/money on something better.

Also if you have a classic pulsar, its wise to get the DTSi ignition. Thats it.
Pulsars are dated now, and nobody is interested in making ignitions for it.
                  BTW, a 2-stroke CDI wont work on a 4-stroke.

I believe these cdis never went into mass production.. was just a concept.. Pulsar is a lazy 4 stroke.. a new curve wont make her run like a Superbike.. try getting an RX or RD and think of putting those rdd cdis

The Dtsi ignition does not suit the classic! You just cannot interchange critical components as you like.

U need to change the head man. Thats the only option left.
Even if you get a fully programmable CDI on a pulsar, u might gain some 0.5bhp. It hardly has any juice inside.

Dude, have you ever ridden an RD? my Daichi CB points do take her to speeds beyond 130kmph even today.... on sigma. RDs can do much better speeds even today.. But, forget about local Indian cdi kits. fully race -pepped Indian RD350s using Femsa ignitions used to do speeds close to 220Kmph @ Sholavaram race track during the 80s.. surely, there were not enough "super bikes" which used to give such stability @ those speeds on a track then.. and there is no point in comparing a 2008 spec superbike to the 73 born RD350 legend..

Yes.. you please continue with ur pulsar project.. do take a dyno run before and after.. those will prove the fact.. Dude, pulsar is just a commuter.. surely not a "RACE DERIVED" machine
