yes ,it can be done, you will need to block an oil passage and chain tensioner from 200(classic chain tensioner wont fit...)
the piston kit is straight fit,but the engine pressure will go high...
the bike will be having much power in low and mid revs, however topend will remain almost same........
ps.classic pulsars were known for their sudden surge,do the transplant carefully and they are even more fun..btw i m running the same...

          hey guys,

Gave my bike for service yesterday. Over the last week, ever since I got the HID's, my battery had taken a beating. For the first time in the last 2 and a half years my electric start just wouldn't respond! Told the issues to my mechanic and he promised to fix them during the service.

Infact the problem was so bad, my horn sound was getting muffled. Even worse, the LCD begin getting dimmer. The funniest part was at times, when I would honk the HID's would black out

So i dropped my bike at the mechanic's and he has managed to rectify the problem to a certain extent. I now have a normal H30 (AC) running for city use and which makes sure my battery does not drain out and for the odd moment when I really need the light I can turn to my HID's. I have replaced the rectifier and charged my battery so now evven with the HID it is wokring pretty fine.

But even as a ride out to bangalore tomo evening, I'm quite sceptical about the electricals on my bike Especially as it is a night ride. Also I do not have a pass signal which I'm mighty used to. Probably after my ride back I will get it fixed.

          Lets see how it goes.

PS: I'm off to Ooty from Bangalore for the RTMC on 23rd morning. Any other X-Bhpians who are too?

hey shadez.. .the projector project sounds interesting...

even i ws doing my research bit on that but nothng encouraging popped up..

except for one case where i saw a pulsar 150 with the only the projector part of the 220 and nt the entire dome... he had modified the stock dome to accommdate the projector... looked good.. as he had also fit a HID...

he did not loose his pass switch too..

well lets see.. any developments on yr side ??

A little help for me 2

                      Hello,
I also own the same version
I have problem with the suspension, i dont wanna get a mono shock or something but the problem is the present suspension is not good
It is very soft i have tightened it 2 steps for better cornering ability but then it is still soft and when on a big bump gives pain in any pillion's b**t and for the rider back ache

I want to change the suspension
                      shall i put
                      1)Hunk's GRS Shocker
                      2)Karizma's shocker
                      3)Apache's shocker
Or is there any solution for the current set up

Possible cost and place to get it cheaply done plz help me
                      I stay in mumbai

P.s Hey all the best for ur moods and do keep updating watching this thread, sorry but i dint wanted to start another thread thats y i posted it here

P.s Would fitting a new block/bore piston of the 200 be cheaper or REBORING the same block and putting the 200 piston in(180) do the job and save some bucks for the mod? Any one tried this before
And are dunlop's 100/90 better than the mrf zapper's?

RTR has a stiffer set up.I think it shud fit the bill.

hunk and karizma's shocks would be a bit tall so you would loose out on cornering and also weaken side panels. apache's would be better. i suggest cbz shocks though. its almost retrofit and gives good feel.
i read somewhere that changing the springs help tighten the shocks.

i suggest getting the entire 200 kit.

tough choice there with the tyres. both are good mate.
                          check this:

and ofcourse the zappers are good tyres all the way. and pirelli for some extra dough.
