I got HID set from @navnesh from bangalore....
    thks in advance
    did you yourself installed it???
if no then the mechanic that have installed it never get to him again...

because when you install the hid as the normal halogen bulb then your bike's batery does not support it in running mode...due to lack of current it fluctuates...
in order to remove this problem you need to make out a direct connection with the batery (positive terminal) to the beam which has HID...
remember to put an switch in between it else your HID would keep on goin as you switch on your bike...
    Hope this helped you...

If not HID - the 55/60 halo is more than enough for me. HELP NEEDED!!!!!
Open the Lighting Coil which is behind the LH cover and post a picture of it here so that members can tell you the wire which you need to un-ground.

If you want to do rewinding then check this out

Even thought its for Apache RTR 180 ,you will get a good idea.

I can let you know where to buy from if you need it...

I've opened up this projector and have seen everything personally.
Let me warn you, its very very bad in quality as well as output, in a day or two the inner surface turns white from chrome.
The output is not better than standard halogen too.

If you are going for projector, go for good quality ones like sajjt is using or from junk to save cost...
I spoke with pavan as well.I guess I will stick to my stock setup with the HID. Will later on think of going for the aux lights. Thank you so much for all the help guys. Will get back to trouble you guys if needed.

I guess the assembly in the video won't suit my bike as it has black on the reflector and the color of my bike is burgundy/maroon.

    @ steelbreeze

The headlight projector with angel eyes which these guys provide for say 1800 to 3600 bucks is very very sub standard.
DO NOT even think about purchasing it.

If you need a projector, buy a genuine projector of a high end car from junk and install a bulb in it.

But to be honest, a projector specially with angel eye will never suit a bull's personality.

You can do something like this.

here, you can install 2 projectors on the sides with hid (ofcource after sourcing another hid kit) and retrofit them in projectors.
Keeping your existing headlamp as it is with an H4 halogen bulb.
Would look better and feel better too.

    Otherwise,
Can source small 3 inch autopal sealbeams and install them in this manner.

But again, here you can use H4 hid bulb already, so you'll have to just source another.

If currently you don't wish to spend more, you can do what a good friend of mine (Vishal has done)

Hence, it will be use it only when you need it to avoid people swearing funda...

So, i suggest do not cut the reflector and install an HID in that, use the hid maybe projectors too on the crash guard, will look much much better.

Kurla-CST road is the (un)official junkyard of mumbai man. you will get 220 headlight assemblys being sold for as low as 800 bucks over there...less for the projectors separately. get it from there, open the seal beam up and install it yourself. Kinda like a DIY

The Amby seal-beam is almost exactly same as your current headlight, so again even if you do buy that and install, there would be hardly any difference in glares as well as output.

You can do 1 thing, install an Amby seal-beam on your crash-guard with hid in that, the seambeam would cost you roughly 200 bucks, and keep your stock bulb in your stock headlamp, so you can use HID only when you really need it as an aux.

Or you can install a projector in your current headlight using a different base bulb, but the same ballast.
    You can thus save money.

But as you ride the Bull, i guess projectors won't suit its personality.
However you can still install that projector or a new seal-beam on the crash-guard and use it whenever its required.
Yup you are right. I am afraid the projector won't suit the personality. Well while going through the thread, I read a post of Doc who had shared the contact details of a guy who sells the HID and projector stuff(Sri VG Medical Systems). I contacted this guy and he said that it would cost me Rs 1750 for a bi-xenon projector with the HID bulb and angel eyes minus the wiring harness and the ballast. Well, do you think this would be a good deal and give it a try(as I already have the wiring and the ballast, or does it require something more?)? I did try to contact Navnish, but he is not reachable.

On the Let there be light thread, I had come across some mod people in Delhi(Bi-Xenon Hid Kit, Bi-Xenon projector, Bi-Xenon headlights, Angel Eyes, Projector Headlights, Projector Headlights for R15, performance parts in delhi, performance parts in karol bagh, riding parts in delhi, Bike Modification shop in delhi, HID light ). On their projector headlights page, I came across this . I loved the way it looks. There is a watermark at the bottom of this pic which says FutureVision HID - The Future of Performance Lighting Systems. I looked up the price of this headlight on their website and its a whopping $289.99 with the projectors.
I emailed the delhi guys for the same product and they are yet to reply.
The same delhi guys have done this Bi-xenon Projector HeadLamp Bullet by MXSMOTOSPORT.COM - YouTube on a bullet but I guess this won't look good on my burgundy/maroon bull.

So, right now, the option worth trying is the one that I have mentioned at the top(Sri VG Medical Systems). So kindly suggest. Also, does any one have any sort of experience with this guy? I am yet to clarify on warranty as well.

Or the flap at the top like this?

Set the beam throw a bit lower so that the glare is less. Projector installation is not at all a costly affair as we have Kurla-CST road.
How much do they charge to install a projector?
